Once you’ve got your hands on Haunter, the process of evolving it into Gengar is simple. Grab a friend andtrade Haunterfor one of their other Pokemon, at this point,the evolution process will begin. Of course, we recommend trading with a friend you can trust because you’ll need to trade the Pokemon back once more to get your Gengar back.
If you don’t have anyone to trade with, there is another process you can take. Simply head toJubilife Villageand speak with Simona at the Trading Post. You will then be able to purchase items from her vendor. Purchase theLinking Cableand give it to Haunter to evolve it into Gengar.
