It has 15000 HP and variety of unpredictable and powerful attacks.

The Great Hog itself is followed by its hoards of fierce Piglin minions, such as Pigmadillos. Its appearance is heralded by a cutscene that plays after players destroy the third Horde Leader: The Great Hog has created a new nether portal leading into the Well of Fate. This is not a straightforward boss fight; players must strengthen their units and focus on the surrounding buildings first. One of the most challenging components of this boss fight is the Great Hog’s daunting size, but players needn’t worry: This guide will break down how to prepare for and execute the battle ahead.Players might not want to be distracted by the narrator for this one.
Preparations
The battle between players and the Great Hog is not a simple one. Some core preparations must be completed before continuing to the arena.
Before heading to the battle, players must prepare for the invasion. To do this,they should visit some Homesteads and Villages and recruit as many Skeletons and mobs as possible. Players can also choose to recruit Warriors, Creepers, and Zombies in battle.Unsurprisingly, it helps if players stock up on resources and supplies, especially supplies that will be needed to spawn allies, since the clash with the Great Hog will be much easier with some extra help (especially fromthose handy Skeletons).
It’s recommended to search through Village Chests for extra resources, too. After players have recruited a reliable army,they should head to the Well of Fate and build a Wellhouse.
By doing so, they ensure that when or if they fall, there is a very accessible respawn point.
Take Down Each Building
In comparison to what players have seen thus far, there are far more bases inhabited by The Great Hog’s hordes of enemies. Players will first need to prioritize destroying these bases. Try to focus on regular enemy units and bases first - the goal is to end up destroying the Great Hog’s base. Golems will assist in gaining momentum against the hordes.

Clearing the Area
Once players maneuver their way into The Great Hog’s primary territory, attacking opposing forces and structures in a circular motion is recommended, rather than
making a beeline for The Great Hog itself. Circling the central base in this way will allow players to take down additional structures attempting to attack. If players notice their numbers declining, they cango to an area with more space and limited enemies and summon extra help via reinforcements.
At this point, the goal is to clear the area of enemies besides the Great Hog to prepare for the primary battle. Neglecting to clear the site will automatically make the final battle between players and the Great Hog exceptionally difficult.It’s recommended to utilize Cure Netherrack to purify the surrounding area, as doing so will enable players to build more spawners closer to the boss.Making a Red Stone Launcher to take down enemies from a distance will also alleviate some of the chaos of this battle by targeting enemy buildings and some of the strongest enemies in the area.

Facing the Great Hog
Golems were a trustworthy asset and reliable mob in defeating the Great Hog’s hordes of enemies. Now, fans are encroaching on the boss’s territory and will need to focus on different, specific units to help us take down the daunting beast itself.The Great Hog deals damage at close range, which is crucial as close-range attacks are usually devastating and fatal, especially to allies.For this reason, Skeletons will be the best mobs to employ during this fight. They are completely range-based, so can attack from relative safety. They offer immense support for this battle, and as many as possible should be spawned.
The enemies closest to the Great Hog are at high risk of being killed, so if players rely on close-range allies, the fight will be far harder.However, such team members will still be useful. Skeletons will inflict their barrage onto the Great Hog while he is too busy trying to attack the players and the melee units, which will act as a shield of sorts for the Skeletons while dealing significant damage themselves. The player, meanwhile, can focus on dodging the Great Hog’s devastating, close-range attacks. Ensuring allies are defended amid the action is essential too, and strategically initiating these efforts will keep the Great Hog busy while gradually diminishing its health.
As the battle progresses, enemy structures will be rebuilt. They will spawn throughout the arena but mainly on the outskirts, where players initially cleared the area in the last step.When noticing these buildings reappearing, it’s best to fall back to take them down. Refraining from doing so will only clog the arena with enemies until there are far too many to deal with. This will overwhelm players' allies and will lead to their demise. To make this easier, Cobblestone Golems can be created to take down the surrounding structures. While they focus on the new enemy buildings, players and their Skeletons can concentrate on damaging the Great Hog.
Skeletons will naturally die during the battle. Therefore,players' inventory of diamonds will decrease as well. In the meantime, players can substitute Skeletons with Plank Golems.Although Plank Golems are far from as efficient and robust as Skeleton mobs, they will still deal a lot of damage to the Great Hog and have the capability to finishing the job.
Fans should also feel free to get some space to heal or strategically spawn allies elsewhere:the Great Hog does not and cannot heal itself or enter a different phase of attacks while players do this.Most of this battle, ultimately, depends on strategic dodging and mob utilization.The Beast is one thing, but this beast is a different class of foe.

The Ending of the Minecraft Legends Campaign
