The PlayStation 3 had some absolute gems when it came to the horror franchise.Dead Space 2,The Evil Within,Alien Isolation, andSiren Blood Curse. The last on the list may be the more obscure among them, but it was able to bring some innovations to the genre that even the bigger names didn’t achieve.

Sadly, it is very likely to be lost to time as there are no remasters or remakes planned. In fact, not many people even know about the game or the team behind it. But, for fans of horror games, it would be a shame to miss it for the scares and laughs it offers.

The reason behind this event is that the person would routinely eat raw pork, which led to them ingesting tapeworm eggs and developing an infection called cysticercosis.
Siren Blood Curse, while it didn’t need the enemies to consume raw pork, also featured parasitic entities and insects. Some of the enemies the player faces even sprout wings or look exactly like a maggot. Called the Shibito, the game used them to create some good scares, even if some were a bit comical.

Many hope the upcomingA Quiet Place: The Road Aheadwill be able to tap into your system’s mic and pick up on sounds to add to the challenge. It won’t be the first horror game to do that, but it would fit in perfectly with the premise of the universe.
