UnlikeGame of Thrones, which saw Daenerys Targaryen helming three dragons – Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion, keeping account of the dragons in its prequel series has been a bit complex. ConsideringHouse of the Dragonsees House Targaryen at its strongest, as it takes place prior to the civil war between the two factions, we get to witness a lot more of the dragons in season one.

And with season two set to mark the beginning of the Targaryen civil war, the two teasers released by HBO have given us a glimpse of more dragons that will make their appearance in Westeros.

Aegon’s Dragon Sunfyre

While Sunfyre was featured briefly in the seventh episode of season one, the graceful golden dragon will finally get a proper introduction in thesecond season. Baela Targaryen’s Moondancer

While prominently smaller than the likes of Vermithor or Vhagar, Moondancer can still be a formidable force in the hands of Baela Targaryen. With the trailer seeing the fearless rider raging on its back, the young she-dragon resembles its appearance from the book, possessing a pale green slender body with white horns.

Rhaena Targaryen’s Morning

Unlike Baela, the youngest daughter to Daemon Targaryen and Laena Velaryon was left without a dragon in Season One, as her egg didn’t hatch. But as the lore goes, the egg hatches from Syrax’s clutch duringDance of the Dragons. This means the upcoming season might see the young she-dragon in action, but considering she is too small to be taken into the battle, she might survive the civil war.

King Jaeherys I’sVermithor
