In a live-service game such asHelldivers 2, it’s natural for players always to want the next bigger and better thing. More is always welcome whether that be new enemies, weapons, maps, cosmetics, etc.

Having ‘more’ might not always be the best in any scenario, however. With players increasingly asking for more enemy factions, i.e. the Illuminate, to be added to the game, we have to stop ourselves and ask—are we even prepared for what’s coming?

Communication, strategy, and willpower are some of the most important assets to have when taking on missions inHelldivers 2.
Missing even one of these qualities missing can greatly reduce the chances you and your squadron will complete a mission successfully.

And, they’ve already predicted that a lot of people are going to be complaining about the higher difficulty. We can probably expect some people to spam the developers about nerfing the Illuminate.

If anyone has any doubts about how the new enemies are going to be, someHelldivershave been kind enough to give everyone a harsh reality check.
One player, a veteran from theHelldivers 1days, cleverly sums up exactly how the introduction of the new faction is going to go.
Everyone’s going to want to fight against them at first, but upon realizing how difficult they are, Terminid missions are going to see a huge boost again.
However, that’s just the start of a much longer and much more tougher battle.
