Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the upcoming sequel toHellblade: Senua’s Sacrificefrom Ninja Theory, is one of the biggest Xbox game releases this year, coming on May 21. The first game was very well received by fans and critics, and players are now looking forward to playing the sequel.

However, there has been very little marketing around the game from Xbox, and many may not even know that the game drops next week. Fans are now worried that this could badly impactHellblade 2developer Ninja Theory, and they might also be shut down if the game does not perform well.
Hellblade 2 Is in a Bad Position Right Now
Hellblade 2is coming to Xbox Series consoles, PC, and Game Pass. Xbox recently shut down multiple studios, includingHi-Fi Rushdeveloper Tango Gameworks andRedfalldeveloper Arkane Austin, and players are of the opinion that Ninja Theory could see the same fate if things don’t pick up in favor of its upcoming game.

One player posted a picture of the game listed on the“top selling Steam games”chart and showed that, given how much players have loved the first game, there is not much hype for the sequel. The game, as per the shared image, was in the 248th position, and now, at the time of writing, it is in the 212th place.

The game is the 62nd most wishlisted game as perSteamDband has just over 21k followers, as per the“Most followed upcoming Steam games”list. Fans are worried that with just 7 days to go until the launch, the game is in a bad position, and with themarketing from Xbox, it will be hard for it to succeed financially, especially because it is also coming to Game Pass on day one.

Several fans have said that the game will be amazing and much better than the first game, which is what the developer has also said as it builds upon the best aspects ofHellbladeand improves it, but the main issue is that the game is facing the hype around it and it’ll cost the developer and Microsoft.

Some fans added that the hype around the game ended when the resolution and the game being locked at 30 fps were announced, and the slow marketing for the game has done no good.

Crazy that any hype the game had just disappeared after they announced the resolution and being locked at 30fps
