A year afterHades 2entered early access, developer Supergiant Games is bringing a new update to the game’sEarly Accessbuild.
This isn’t just any update, though.Supergiantsaid that we’re on the road to the 1.0 launch. “After more than a year of Early Access development, we’re now starting to prepare for our v1.0 launch,” the team said in an announcement. “We’re heading into the final phase of Hades 2 development, which involves adding the story’s true ending and other finishing touches.” While a release date is not available for 1.0 just yet, we do have a brand new patch available, titled The Unseen Update.

As the headliner, all of the Nocturnal Arms now have a secret, final form waiting to be discovered. There are also all new changes from each Guardian in the Oath of the Unseen, new music and artwork on character portraits, and more.

Again, no date is available for theHades 2v1.0 launch, but Supergiant says they’re getting close. The team is focused on delivering a game that is worthy of following up on the original Hades.
They’ll have some pretty big shoes to fill. We spent some time with Hades 2 last year and came away impressed. “The Hades series is setting the tone as one of the premier indie rogue-like series in modern gaming history,” we said in ourimpressions. “With this second iteration, as far as I can tell, its only competition is with itself.”
Hades 2 is currently in Early Access on Steam, but will be atimed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2at some point later this year.
