Unlike the light-hearted tone of the previousNight SpringsDLC,The Lake Houseseems to be returning to the dark, psychological horror that defines the series. With Remedy recently promoting its Interconnected Universe, the upcoming DLC could also potentially bridge the gap toControl 2.
Alan Wake 2‘s DLC Will Take Us Back To The Roots
Set alongside the events of the main game,The Lake Houseintroduces Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) agent Kiran Estevez as the new playable protagonist. Estevez, who was a secondary character inAlan Wake 2, will now take center stage as she investigates a catastrophic event at Cauldron Lake.
