The Blades of Chaos are one of your starting weapons in Ragnarok that you’ll be using for the rest of the ensuing war against the Norse Gods. These blades carried Kratos to victory against the Greek pantheon, and with the right attachments, the weapon will help him in this new and unforgiving war.
10Steel Handles
The steel handles are the starting attachment to the Blades of Chaos. This attachment starts at level 1 and has no special passive skill. Despite this, it can be upgraded and generally boost Kratos in all areas.
As this attachment is upgraded further, it will increase the stats' boost. With every new level, it will gain a new stat boost and will eventually offer bonuses in each available stat.

9Pommels Of Brutal Might
This is one of the few Blades of Chaos attachments that offer a bonus to defense. Should you be making a heavily defensive build, this attachment is a must. Its additional strength bonus helps increase damage while focusing more on your defense.
Performing a grab attack on a stunned enemy with this attachment boosts your strength temporarily. While this bonus is useful, it requires a heavy focus on stunning your enemies to make it as useful as other attachments.

8Pommels Of The True Flame
This attachment only offers semi-decent bonuses to strength, runic, and cooldown. The special skill allows a bonus of runic attack damage if your immolation gauge is full. This bonus damage on top of the runic stat bonus can lead to very powerful attacks in a few situations.
This attachment does fall off a little since it’s tough to utilize its completely. Its bonus is practically useless unless you fill your immolation gauge with basic attacks to save your runic attacks until after the gauge is full for the bonus.

7Cursed Empress Handles
These handles offer a bonus to both Strength and Luck. As they are upgraded, their strength continues to be decent, and the luck bonus scales a bit more than strength. While many people tend to skip over the luck bonus, it pairs perfectly with these handles' skills.
With each hit from these blades, there is a low-luck chance to offer a bonus to both strength and runic. This stack can be applied with any hit from the blades, making basic attacks the perfect opportunity to stack these weapons' total damage output.

6Deadly Obsidian Handles
This attachment is another straightforward bonus, much like the steel handles. This attachment only offers a bonus to strength for all nine levels. As it only upgrades strength, it does so at a staggering rate, eventually reaching a bonus 62 for strength.
This attachment also has a skill that allows any kill made by these blades to provide more Rage. These handles are the perfect fit for someone playing a classic Kratos whohits hard and is fueled by his rage.

5Radiant Warden Handles
These handles offer a decent boost to strength and cooldown. Your runic attacks will be the biggest source of damage, and getting them sooner is priceless with their long cooldowns. The bonus to strength isn’t the best in comparison to other handles, but the cooldown reduction is fantastic, and its unique skill is priceless.

The Blades of Chaos suffer from their lack of long-range attacks. Should the enemy use a bow, the Blades are initially ineffective. With this attachment, all projectiles are blocked when charging the Flame Whiplash.
4Hardened War Handles
The Blades of Chaos don’t have the longest range, but pulling an enemy toward you with your chains never gets old. This attachment increases both your pull and grapple ranged attacks for the blades, making these attacks much more viable.
This attachment also offers an impressive boost to multiple stats. Despite the other focuses, it offers one of the higher strength bonuses, along with an increase in strength and vitality. This attachment offers the perfect bonuses for a more well-rounded build.
3Luminous Recovery Handles
Runic attacks, in the right build, can quickly deal massive amounts of damage. These heavy-hitting attacks are given longer cooldowns to keep your damage output balanced unless you are able to speed up these cooldowns.
This attachment offers a bonus (relatively low) for strength, cooldown, and luck. This attachment’s special skill, on the other hand, offers a moderate luck chance to fully recharge your runic attacks on a successful Flame Whiplash. Successfully juggling your own runic attacks and instant cooldowns can create a very quick burst of incredible amounts of damage.
2Pommels Of The Undying Spark
The Pommels Of The Undying Spark offer a great bonus to strength and an additional decent bonus to runic. As for strength bonuses, this is one of the best options. The attachment offers another stat boost, and its unique skill assists with burning damage.
If your play style has you using the blades for a prolonged combo, oftentimes, your enemies will be set on fire. The following additional damage is a great bonus to follow the combo, and with this Pommel, that damage is only increased.
1Pommels Of Agile Deceit
Much to its namesake, this attachment is perfect for someone who is moving fast and making quick attacks in small openings. Dodging is a huge mechanic, and the ability to attack mid-dodge is incredibly useful. With this attachment, Evasive Embers and Spinning Chaos both have increased damage.
Spinning Embers is one of the bestrunic attacksthe blades can use, and this attachment only makes them better. The stat bonuses are only moderate, but the increased damage to Spinning Chaos makes up for it.
