Noelle has been a member of theGenshin Impactroster since the game’s release, and with her being a guaranteed character on thebeginner’s banner, everybody has at least one Noelle on their account. Noelle is a great character to help beginners through the early stages of the game, particularly thanks to her shielding skill and herascension 1 passive that will automatically shield a character if they drop below 30% HP.

And with herConstellation level 1 that guarantees her healing effect to trigger on every hit while she has her burst active, Noelle becomes a very independent character. Whether you’re building her because she’s your first 4-star character or because you simply enjoy her, here are some of the best builds you can get for your Noelle.
Noelle’s Best Build & Artifact Sets
Noelle works best as aMain DPScharacter; she can be used as a shielder/healer, but doing so will prolong the team’s rotation, as she has to be on the field to heal.
4-Piece Husk Of Opulent Dreams
Husk of Opulent Dreams was made forArataki Itto, who happens to play similarly to Noelle, and so this set works very well for her. However, Husk of Opulent Dreams can only be obtained in Inazuma, so beginners may not be able to get this set for her immediately.
Husk of Opulent Dreams'2-Piece bonus will increase DEF by 30%,which willincrease Noelle’s Shield Absorption and her Burst’s ATK increaseas both scale off of her DEF. The 4-piece Bonus willbuild a stack every 0.3 seconds when the character hits an enemy with a Geo attack, or every 3 seconds that the character spends off field, to a maximum of 4 stacks. Each stack will increase the characters DEF and Geo DMG by 6%. This will work great for Noelle on field, as her burst will be able to generate a stack each time it hits, causing its damage to greatly increase with the bonuses.

Since Husk of Opulent Dreams will be very difficult for beginners to get, a good placeholder set for Noelle will be4-Piece Gladiator’s Finaleor2-Piece Gladiator’s Finaleand2-Piece Archaic Petra.
4-Piece Maiden’s Beloved
Maiden’s Beloved works on Noelle exclusively as a healer, which is a possible way to play her; it can also be obtained very early on in Monsdadt. The2-Piece bonus will increase healing effectiveness by 15%,while the4-Piece bonus will increase healing received by 20% after using an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst for all characters for 10 seconds. This is very useful for Noelle as a healer, as her healing is tied to her Elemental Skill.
Sands of Eon
Crit Rate, Crit DMG, DEF%
Goblet of Eonothem
Geo DMG Bonus, DEF%
Circlet of Logos
Like a handful of other Geo characters, Noelle has a lot of DEF scaling in her kit, meaningit’s better to prioritize DEF over ATKin her artifacts. And, if you plan to play her exclusively as a Shielder/Healer, it may be easier tobuild her as full DEF.

Noelle’s Best 5-Star & 4-Star Weapons
5-Star Weapons: Redhorn Stonethresher & Skyward Pride
Just like the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set,Redhorn Stonethresherwas made for Arataki Itto, and it works great for Noelle by extension thanks to their similar needs. At Level 90, theBase ATK is 542with ahuge Sub-Stat of 88.2% Crit DMG. The passive of the weapon willincrease the character’s DEF by 28%, and their Normal and Charged Attacks will be increased by 40% of the character’s DEF.
Its Base ATK is a little low for a 5-star weapon, but Noelle makes up for it with her Elemental Burst, giving her an ATK increase based on her DEF, and the Crit DMG sub-stat of the weapon is extremely useful on any character.

Redhorn Stonethresher isArataki Itto’s signature weaponand will be featured on weapon event banners next to him.
Skyward Prideis a good weapon for Noelle, and you have a better chance of getting it than Redhorn Stonethresher. At level 90, theBase ATK is 674with a36.8% Energy Recharge Sub-Stat.The passive of the weaponincreases all DMG by 8%, and using an Elemental Burst, Normal, or Charged Attack it will deal 80% of ATK as AoE damage.

Skyward Pride is a standard weapon, making it available on the standard banner and any weapon banner.
4-Star Weapons: Serpent Spine & Whiteblind
Serpent Spineis a Battle Pass reward weapon that players can unlock at level 30. At level 90, it has aBase ATK of 510 with a Sub-Stat of 27.6% Crit Rate. The passive grants a6% damage bonus every 4 seconds the character is on the fieldwhile also increasing their damage taken by 3%.This stacks up to 5 times (30% damage bonus, 15% damage taken increase) but will be reduced to 1 stack if the character takes damage. It will not lose the buff if the character goes off the field.
As a Main DPS, Noelle will spend a lot of time on field while providing shielding and healing to counter the increased damage taken.
Whiteblindis a weapon that players can craft at any time. The weapon has aBase ATK of 510with aDEF sub-stat of 51.7%,which is useful thanks to Noelle’s DEF scaling. The passive willincrease ATK and DEF by 6% when the character lands a Normal or Charged ATK to a maximum of 4 stacks. With the weapon being a crafted weapon, and Noelle’s DEF scaling, Whiteblind is a great weapon for Noelle — especially for beginners.

Noelle’s Best Team Compositions
As a Geo character, Noelle doesn’t add much to a reactionary team other than Shields, so her best team is aMono-Geoteam.
In this team, we play 3Geo charactersto get the most out ofGorou’s passives, which will provide useful DEF and Geo DMG buffs. Albedo will provideconsistent off-field coordinated Geo attacksto the team. Shinobu is a flex character here; building her withfull Elemental Mastery artifactswill increase the absorption of her crystallize shields, which Gorou will collect for you, and she will also provide additional healing.
Both Albedo and Shinobu can be replaced with other characters, especially other Geo characters such as:
