Genshin Impact’s 3.6 update added a new and possibly the final area of the Sumeru desert, and along with that, some interesting quests made their way into the game as well. One of the quests added as part of the update is The Khaverna of Good and Evil, in the northern part of the Desert Of Hadramaveth.

Once players reach the area, the first part of the quest will begin and after completing that, players will be able to start Asipattravana Itihasa. After following Khaverna in the Desert of Hadramaveth, players will be prompted to awaken the power of Khaverna, and here is how to complete that part of the quest.
Awakening The Power
For the first part of the quest, players need to awaken the power of Khaverna. It is quite tricky since the game doesn’t really guide on you how this can be done, although it is quite straightforward. To awaken the powers of Khaverna, you need to use your newly found little friend, Sorush.
Firstly, players need to take control of Sorush and guide her through the thorny branches. Eventually, players will reach an area with a green orb, where lies the power of Khaverna. With Sorush in front of the orb, use her Elemental Skill to awaken the power of Khaverna.
Next up, you need to take down all defiled entities in the swamp. Once again, Sorush comes to your rescue here, as you will not be able to normally defeat them. Head to the nearby Nirodha Fruit, which is an orange-colored flower right near the power of Khaverna, and use Sorush’s Elemental Skill once again to get eight power drops from the fruit. Now use Sorush’s Elemental Burst to defeat the enemies. It should be noted that you may only hit enemies when they are stationary, so patience is the key here. If you run out of charges, don’t worry as they are plenty more Nirodha Fruits nearby.
This is one of the missions that occurs frequently in the quest line, so you might need to repeat the entire process a few times. One of the trickier quests where this formula is reused is when players have to save Mihir. After going through the entire awakening phase twice, players will find Mihir entrapped in the same purple mist and this time players need to defeat the Hydro Abyss Mage as well. They are the weakest to Frozen reaction, followed by Electro-charged and Vaporize, so you should ensure that you employ this strategy before coming.
