With rumors regarding its release going on for a year now, fans were getting increasingly impatient over the release of the same. Thankfully, the update didn’t disappoint, and players were greeted with an array of new characters, quests, weapons, and much more. However, that is not all miHoYo has to offer as there is some more interesting stuff coming up in the next update.
The Genshin Impact 3.1 Update is all set to arrive on 28th September 2022, at 06:00 am (UTC+8). The maintenance will take roughly five hours to complete, and players will not be able to play the game when the maintenance is going on. However, miHoYo is quite generous and is giving out 60 Primogems per hour for the scheduled maintenance. What’s better is the fact that if the maintenance finishes early, which is the case almost always, then players still get the 300 Primogems. And if it goes beyond 5 hours, players will get extra Primogems per hour the maintenance gets extended by. Ideally, we haven’t really seen the maintenance lasting beyond five hours, but if it does, rest assured you will be well compensated.
Speaking of the update, it will be marking the debut of three new characters, Candace, Cyno, and Nilou. While fans have been waiting for quite a bit to pull for these characters, things are going to get quite interesting because miHoYo also announced Nahida and Layla, two of the most anticipated characters, for the next update. As things stand, fans are left in a dilemma whether they should pull for the banner, or skip it.
