However, unbeknownst to many, another game from the same studio stands on the brink of extinction as FromSoftware plans to shut down all the playable servers of this game soon.We are talking about how the servers of the renownedDark Souls 2title will be shutting down by the end of this month,i.e. 31st March, for those who enjoy the game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Nonetheless, the title has gained immense respect over the years, making it one of the many successful titles FromSoftware has released to date.
FromSoftware To Nuke The Servers OfDark Souls 2On PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Soon
Announced on their officialTwitter Handle, FromSoftware revealed last December how they will be shutting down the servers of the game officially on 31st March 2024. However, this change will be taking effect only for the users on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

In a further revelation, the studio also disclosed in a reply to the original post how the servers will be shut down exactly at 5:00 PDT | 14:00 CEST | 21:00 JST respectively. Those who will still be trying to access the online play after the deadline has passed will be met with a message that informs the player how Online Play has been disabled.
Fortunately, a gamer would still be able to experience online playing as it would be available for those who will be playing the game on other platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One through the game’s Scholar of the First Sin edition.
