The popularFortnitemaresEvent is back again for 2022, altering theFortniteisland to coincide with the spooky season. To celebrate Halloween, Fortnite has received an overhaul of fresh content including map changes, the introduction of zombie chickens, the revival of thePumpkin LauncherandCandy consumables, and twonew Mythic items.

The Howler Clawsare the most prominent Mythical item added with this update, as it was featured heavily in theFortnitemares trailer. This new item can be obtained by any player who performs the Ritual Emote at the variousRitual Altarsaround the map. However, the Howler Claws are not the only new item added with the V22.20 update, as a Mythical variant of the Suppressed Submachine Gun has also made an appearance. Here is how to obtain this new item.
How To Get The Inkquisitor’s Mythic Suppressed SMG
To obtain this new SMG, players will have to first summon the Inkquisitor, who is a brand-new Boss located atGrim Gables. The location to summon the Inkquisitor is locatedbelow the haunted houseat Grim Gables, the entrance of which can be found in the room nearest to this location’s Bounty Board, which itself is partially covered by a carpet.
Upon entering the basement, players will be greeted by a strangeoctopus-shaped muralon the ground. Simply stepping on this area will trigger the various pots surrounding the mural to be set ablaze, followed by thespawning of the Inkquisitor. All that is left now is to defeat the Inkquisitor, but this is no easy task.
This newly summoned hostile NPC will carry aPumpkin LauncherandFirefly Jars, so it will be best to avoid getting too close. Keep your distance, as doing so will increase the time it takes for Inkquisitor rockets to reach you, making them much easier to dodge. The reload for the Pumpkin Launcher is also quite long, so take the opportunity tofocus fireonto the upper torso and head of the Inkquisitor to maximize your damage output during these moments.
Once defeated, the Inkquisitor will drop their prizedMythic Suppressed SMG, among other items such asChug Splashesand thePumpkin Launcherthey used during combat.
