As with the beginning of any new season, Season 4 comes with a brand-new Battle Pass full of characters and items for players to unlock. All skins and items are purely cosmetic and offer no in-game advantages. That being said, it’s time to look at the new characters arriving on the island with this Battle Pass.
8Lennox Rose
With a fierce, spiked jacket, oversized pigtails, and beautiful animations, Lennox Rose makes a great addition to a very strong Battle Pass. She might be at the bottom of this particular list, but that’s really just a testament to how strong the Battle Pass is and the quality of characters coming out this season.
When it comes to additional styles, she has a few that really change her color-scheme and overall look. Fortnite has come a long way with its anime-inspired designs, and Lennox Rose stands among the very best Fortnite has offered.

Coming in at number seven is Twyn, who, at first glance, seems like a boring addition to an otherwise flashy Battle Pass. However, Twyn gets an emote/style that transforms them into a punky girl with lots of flare. Because of the emote and drastically different style, this goes from a fairly mundane skin to a very interesting one.
It’s always great when Fortnite takes the opportunity to use emotes as a way of changing a skin’s style. While it might not end up being everyone’s skin of choice, you have to admit that there’s a bit of originality to this one.

6Meow Skulls
It goes without saying here that the name Meow Skulls is both eye-roll-inducing and kind of perfect for this punky cat. While it’s not very imaginative to include a skin with such strong connections to the original Meowscles, his trimmed-down sister (at least that’s the rumor) is different enough not to be considered a straight-up reskin.

Between the punky clothes and expressive eyes, this cat manages to be one cool customer that anyone should be happy to have in their locker. You’ll even find another cool style for Meow Skulls later in the Battle Pass. So, get out those sweet music emotes and put on a show.
5The Herald
You have to love a good villain, especially in Fortnite. Right now, we don’t know exactly what’s going on with The Herald or her plans for the chrome, but it’s nice to put a shiny new face to who is threatening the island and its inhabitants.
Not to mention that her glowing hair, dark features, and purple dress make her one of the cooler-looking skins in this Battle Pass. While she might not be top-tier skin, she sits comfortably at number five on this list.

While this skin doesn’t top the list, it might be the most original concept of the season. Here you have a small but fierce, animated bear controlling what appears to be a much larger slurp bear.
It sits at number four on this list because, while it is very original, it doesn’t quite tie into the season as much as our top-tier skins. If you’re not entirely sold on the original version of this skin, take a gander at the recolor available with the Battle Pass bonus rewards.

Fans have been waiting for a new Paradigm skin for quite some time. Here she is sporting a lot of edit styles and being played by the marvelous Brie Larson.

Paradigm seems to have taken center stage as our hero for the season and the very first character you will receive in the Battle Pass. However, you’ll be unlocking more and more styles for this hero as you progress through the Battle Pass and into the bonus rewards. Peppering her many looks throughout the Battle Pass and the season will keep her looking fresh for quite some time.
2Spider-Gwen
Coming in at number two on this list, though she could have easily been number one, is Spider-Gwen. Not only did Fortnite manage to bring this superhero to the island, but they also did so with a lot of style. If you take a good look, you’re able to see that her character model has all the same animations we saw in the Spider-Verse movie itself.
In the bonus reward section, you can even earn her unmasked edit style, making this fantastic skin even better. All of this is without even mentioning her wonderful accessories and the fact that we’ll probably see more characters from the Spider-Verse throughout the season.
Topping this list for the Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass is Bytes, a skin that ties together the season’s theme with an original concept. Bytes is a perfect marriage of story, setting, theme, and character that we don’t always see in a Battle Pass.
With chrome-dripping hands and “Hollow” plastered across his chest, this skin manages to be the best this season has to offer. He even shows up fairly early on in the Battle Pass itself. You’ll also find that he has a number of customization options, from hair and mask to color scheme and outfit. Such a fantastic skin was an easy pick for number one on this list.
