Fans of theForza Horizonseries may remember that the third entry in the series saw a specialHot Wheelesthemed DLC arrive shortly after launch. Well, it looks like that may once again be the case withForza Horizon 5as aHot WheelsDLC page briefly appears on Steam.
It should come as no surprise that theHot WheelsDLC would once again be returning to theForzaseries, as bothForza Horizon 3and4both received some form of expansion or DLC pack featuring the popularHot Wheelsfranchise.
The developers of theForzaseries have been known to release two major DLC packs for each new entry in the series, with the first usually being slightly more “out there”, so to speak.Forza Horizon 4’s first DLC pack saw a Lego-inspired expansion, followed by a more realistic approach with the Fortune Island DLC.
Forza Horizon 5 DLC Page Appears With Hot Wheels DLC
It was recently noticed by aReddit userthat the Steam store page for ‘Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle’ featured a banner image for the game’s first expansion pack. Unfortunately, an exact release date for theForza Horizon 5xHot WheelsDLC wasn’t noticed on the Steam page. However, given the release dates of previous DLC pieces forForzatitles, fans can likely expect it to arrive in the coming weeks.
Fans on Reddit had mixed feelings about the release of anotherHot WheelsDLC. Some believed that the expansion had now been overdone, whilst others believed it was some of the most fun they had in theForzaseries.
Of course, it may seem likely thatForza Horizon5’sfirst piece of DLC will beHot Wheelsthemed, but we recommend taking this news with a pinch of salt until it’s made official by the developers.
