Final Fantasy 16comes with a lot of items for you to pick up throughout your journey, and a large number of them will be used for crafting.Craftable itemswill give you an edge in battle in the form of new weapons, accessories, and other such pieces of gear.

In addition to crafting these pieces of gear, you will also be able to use these materials to upgrade them into more powerful versions of themselves. This will be key for some of the most daunting of enemies.
What Is Whitewyrm Bone
Whitewyrm Bone is adrop itemyou will get from defeating the enemy known as theWhite Dragon. This enemy appears late into the game and will be encountered during the main mission, Fire in the Sky. This will also be near the time you unlock the Eikon,Bahamut. This is one of therarest materialsthat you will be able to get, and as such, it is used to craft somereally good gearthat can be used forfacing off against the next wave of challengingopponents that lay in your way.
What Can You Craft With Whitewyrm Bone?
Using this material will allow you tocraft and upgrade several itemsonce you have obtained this material. The first is theDiamond Sword, next is theDiamond Armlets,and finally, theSilken Sash. Each of these is incredibly valuable at this stage in the game, and each of them can beupgraded to become even better. It is worth noting that all of these items can also be purchased from Charon’s Tollif you’ve been grinding for Gil.
Diamond Sword
The Diamond Sword has anattack value of 245 and a magic value of 245. This is quite the jump up from what you may have been used to up to this point. You can craft this item if you also have 90 Bloody Hides and one Imperial Link. Your other option would be tobuy it for a flat 3000 Gil.Onceupgraded, the weapon will have a value of 255 for both its attack and Magic,and a further upgrade will pull it to 265.
Diamond Armlets
The Diamond Armlets will give you adefense increase of 65. You will not be able to craft this item and willneed to buy it for 2700 Gil. Upgrading it willincrease the defense to 68,and a further upgrade willincrease this defense to 71,as well asincrease your HP by 24.
Sliken Sash
Silken Sash can be crafted when you have a Whitewyrn Bone, along with also needing 264 Steelsilk and 87 Magicked Ash. It can also bepurchased for 2900 Gil. This item willraise defense by 66. When upgraded, it willraise your defense by 69 and your HP by 21.Another upgrade willfurther raise these values to 72 for defense and 24 for HP.
