Some video games are released without any competition at all. Even if they have some kind of competition, it’s hard for them to match the success that comes with this franchise of first-person shooters. Fans literally wait for the next game, even though this series is a yearly franchise, and Activision produces a brand-new game every year. The quality of its multiplayer mode and the fun time that it provides always end up attracting gamers to it.

The Red Dot Sight from older Call of Duty titles has made a comeback.

But in recent times,Call of Dutygames have started changing a bit. For one, they have really started taking their chances with its single-player story mode. On the other hand, for fans, the amount of content that is released with the base game has seen some decline. Now, it looks like one of Callof Duty’sbiggest and most popular supporters has spoken up, too.

Dr Disrespect is not loving the state of theCall of Dutyfranchise at this moment

Fans are very well aware thatDr Disrespect loves playingCall of Duty.Over time, fans have literally started reaching out to him to get his response to the game. And they have gotten some feedback. On the other hand, he has been as unforgiving as ever. The guy has given very vocal feedback on eachCall of Dutytitle that has launched in the last few years.

TheCall of Dutyfranchise, on the other hand, has been evolving with every new launch. Its popularity reached cloud nine back when the originalCall of Duty: Modern Warfarelaunched. That game showed players the horrors of war in its campaign mode and allowed them to have insane fun in its multiplayer mode.

WhenCall of Duty: Black Opslaunched, the franchise stepped into the Cold War era. This game was developed by Treyarch, and although it featured a vastly different story, its multiplayer remained mostly the same. They added a few small mechanics to refine that experience, though.

This is how the franchise has evolved over the years. It kept on getting better with the inclusion of new technology, gameplay mechanics, and vastly improved visuals. But Activision also started digging for ways to monetize this franchise. And then microtransactions, too, started becoming a major part of this experience.

With all these changes, some technical aspects kept dwindling. Disconnections, server issues, other smaller problems, and sometimes hackers cheating through multiplayer matches. These problems come and go, and no doubt they continue to annoy the fanbase. And of course, a big part of its fanbase are the followers of Dr Disrespect himself.

It’s so terrible.

Fans literally lost it—not in a negative way, but they actively supported this opinion. They cannot help but agree with the streamer’s assessment ofCall of Duty’sdecline. Let’s see how the publisher, Activision, responds to this. After all, it’s the man himself who has decided to criticize the game; they have to find out why he feels this way.

Players have been criticizing Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 3 released.

Fans have shown Dr Disrespect their support

Fans all over agree with Dr Disprespect’s statement. They have made their own suggestions and let their opinions be known in reply to his tweet. It remains to be seen where all this leads.

Elden Ring Meets Call of Duty: Warzone with Content Creator’s Loadout and Streaming Attire – See it to Believe It

I don’t understand why COD is the only Battle Royale/ team shooter that is even remotely fun to play.

That’s the crazy part. You would think in a billion dollar industry there would be something else to compete with it.

Battlefield failed horribly in that regard.
