The Oblivion Remake Looks Incredible

The screenshots of the Oblivion remake look amazing, though fans have pointed out that the game world looks a lot browner than the original game, which had quite a colourful setting and characters. While the game is called “Remastered,” the visual jump is such that it’s easy toconsider it a remake.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered appears to be coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S (with aday-one Game Pass launch), and PlayStation 5. There is no word regarding a Nintendo Switch 2 port. There appears to be a Deluxe Edition with extra downloadable content.

If the rumors about the Oblivion remake being shadowdropped in April are true, then it’s likely that fans will be playing it soon. It’s still baffling that Microsoft hasn’t been promoting this game, considering how beloved the original Oblivion was and how fans are already chomping at the bit to meet digital Patrick Stewart in the castle dungeons once more.
