How to Start the Equilibrious Beast Raid in Elden Ring Nightreign
Similar to all other raids in Elden Ring Nightreign,there is no definite way to trigger the Equilibrious Beast Raid. It happens at complete random and boils down to good old-fashioned RNG.
However, from personal experience, I had the Equilibrious Beast Raid appear most frequently duringthe Gaping JawandSentient Pest expeditions. In fact, I got this raid to appear around 2 out of 5 attempts on both of these expeditions.
FromSoft Confirms Elden Ring Nightreign Duo Mode And DLC
FromSoftware has confirmed that Elden Ring Nightreign will add Duos Expeditions and DLC at a later date, allowing two people to play together.
In this case, it would be best to repeatedly attempt these two expeditions to try and get the Equilibrious Beast Raid to spawn. Doing this is the fastest way to unlock the trophy.
Equilibrious Beast Raid Explained
Players will know the Equilibrious Beast Raid appeared whenthe face of the Equilibrious Beast flashes on screenand a notification stating"a demon has cast its curse"appears in the upper right corner of the screen. The entire screen will turn darker, too.
This “curse” will turn a good chunk of your health bar gray colored, where the gray represents health that you can’t recover from flasks. In other words, that chunk of the health bar isn’t yours anymore until you complete the raid.
Unlikeother raids in Elden Ring Nightreignwhere you can just run away to avoid them, this curse is arguably the most detrimental and can completely ruin an expedition. Having a chunk of your health bar missing can make the final boss ten times harder.

Luckily,the game marks a red dot on the mini-map(shown in the image above),representing the location of the Equilibrious Beast.All you need to do is reach this location, speak to the Equilibrious Beast, andhand over 15,000 Runes to end the curse.
It’s important tohead to the Equilibrious Beast immediatelyto remove the curse. Otherwise, you run the risk of the beast getting lost in the rain where you’re able to’t reach it anymore, and the curse remains on the entire party for the rest of the expedition.
Any player can pay the 15,000 Runes fine to remove the curse and it will cure the entire squad. Whatever you do,do not attack the Equilibrious Beast, or else you’ll have to defeat it in a boss fight to remove the curse.
Equilibrious Beast Raid Rewards
After finding the Equilibrious Beast merchant and paying 15,000 to remove the curse, your health bar will go back to normal andyour entire team will earn a Power.Players will also earn theTrue Arbiter trophy.
The Power gained enhances attack power depending on the Runes in possession. For example, the more Runes you have, the higher your attack power will be.
A good strategy after gaining this Power is to hold onto Runes, instead ofconstantly leveling up, to deal massive damage against the game’s bosses.
