Nothing beats seeing that familiar golden glow as you grind your enemies into the ground, the call of a legendary weapon beckoning you to take it forth, onward into the dark night.Elden Ring Nightreigncertainly has a way of making you feel unstoppable, andsome of the legendary weapons help fulfill that fantasy.
Plenty of powerful weapons are available, each with its own specialty, but which is the best fit for each Nightfarer? And indeed, are these legendary weapons actually worth wielding, compared to the other powerful purple weapons in the game?

Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Defeat Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaw
You have probably noticed a new Nightlord has appeared in Limveld; the Everdark Sovereign. This new version of Gaping Jaw is nothing to take lightly.
This guide will cover that very question, and show you which weapons will help you defeat theall-powerful Nightlords.

Wylder - Blasphemous Blade
There are a lot of brilliant choices for the Wylder, seeing as though there are5 different types of legendary greatswordcurrently in Elden Ring Nightreign. In addition, due to the way Wylder’s stats are spread out, he can make use of a great spread of options.
The Blasphemous Blade not only has good Strength and Dexterity scaling, but also Faith scaling, which will assist you in the fight againstGladiusand Heolstor. Coupled with its high base damage, of course, it’s also a Greatsword, which works perfectly with Wylder’s relics, like the Slate Whetstone.

For anyone looking to complete the Wylder’s Rememberance Quest, this guide is a must!
On top of this, the blade has two unique perks: the first beingTaker’s Flames, which will whittle away HP from anyone you’re fighting, and also thePower of the Blasphemous, which will heal you as you deal more damage.

The extra HP from the passive means you’re able to fight more aggressively, and you won’t have to retreat to heal as often. If you find yourself as the main frontliner, with two others fighting from behind, this weapon will be sure to grab the boss’s attention.
Guardian - Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear
Guardian is in a bit of a tricky spot in terms of legendary weapons. For some reason, FromSoftware decided not to include any legendary Halberds, which is a pain, asmany of the guardian relicsrequire halberds to be useful.
In which case, we need to find something with a long range that Guardian can use to poke with while he blocks with his powerful passive skill. Luckily,Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear is great here.

Guardian is similar to Wylder in that he doesn’t have any particularly standout stats. Meaning, of course, he can use a good variety of weapons. While he may not have a great arcane stat,Bloodboon ritual is still a ridiculously powerful skill, able to be used three times, causing massive damage and blood loss.
This is where the passive comes into play. The spear gets more powerful from blood loss in the vicinity, and in addition, it will become empowered after the ritual special attack. Naturally, these buffs stack, and you’ll be able to do a massive amount of damage from behind your shield.
Ironeye - Marais Executioner’s Sword
Ironeye is in a really weird spot here. Initially, one would think that the best weapon for him was theLion Greatbow,as it’s the only legendary bow in the game at this time. However, this isn’t quite true.
Upon further inspection, the Lion Greatbow actually scales withStrengthrather thanDex, meaning it’s better on a character likeRaider, who has an S in his Strength scaling. In addition, greatbows don’t share the same moveset as other bows, which Ironeye specialises in.
In this case, it’s better to use Ironeye’s other stats, which are Dex and Arcane. Marais Executioner’s sword has middling dex, but a B in Arcane scaling, meaning Ironeye can make great use of itspowerful weapon skill.
In addition, you get a passive buff in your attack power every time you defeat a smaller enemy, which ispermanent. So don’t skip the weaker mobs when you have this sword. The best way to utilise this is by constantly switching between this and a rare bow, like theSerpent bow,for maximum effect.
Duchess - Carian Regal Scepter
Similarly to Guardian, unfortunately, FromSoftware didn’t give Duchess any Legendary daggers, so here we will have to use her next best set of skills. While many people think it’s best just to spam your dagger attacks, Duchess is in fact aSpellsword, with a pretty decent Intelligence rating of A.
Of course, this means she’s a great spellcaster too, if you find yourself needing to get some distance. She can use the Carian Regal Sceptre to great effect once you have enough FP.
This staff will come with 2 spells out of a choice of 3: a basic Glintstone Arc, and the two moon spells. It doesn’t really matter which moon spell you get here,as they are both very strong, with fantastic enemy tracking.
After a few dagger attacks, you may jump back, heal and fire off a few moonswhile activating your skill to replicate the damage. This is the best way to utilise Duchess, constantly dipping in and out, supporting the team as much as possible.
Raider - Grafted Blade Greatsword
While any of the Colossal Legendary Weaponsare pretty great on Raider due to hisS-scalingin Strength, the Grafted Blade is just ridiculous if you may find it early enough. This is all down to the Passive:the power of vengeance, which is a little bit broken.
The way this works is that every time you kill an enemy (anyenemy), you’ll get a small andvery permanent buffto your attributes. While it might not seem like much at first, you can effectively go around the map clearing out every enemy you find, and end up with a disgustingly massive HP bar, Stamina Bar, and a weapon that deals frankly a stupid amount of damage.
And remember this is a passive,so you can wield it in your offhand and still get the buffsif you have a stronger main weapon. If you know what you’re doing, you can finish the second day, and then, instead of heading into the spirit shelter, go back out into the world and clear out any mobs you’ve left behind. By the time you make it to day 3,you’ll be unstoppable.
Revenant - Sacred Relic Sword
Once more, Revenant is in a bit of a sticky spot here, as there are no Legendary Seals in Nightreign. On top of that, she’s very squishy and her stats don’t allow her to fully use other, more diverse weapons, like Ironeye can.
At this point, it may just be simpler to accept that legendary weapons aren’t great on Revenant, but then in comes the Sacred Relic Sword. Of course, we aren’t using this sword physically. Instead, we’re going to use itsgreat weapon skill to fire off massive arcs of faith-scaling golden lightfrom afar.
This is perfect for clearing out large groups of enemies and for far-casting when you need a break from the combat. This wave goes further than you might expect.
In addition, the passive will buff your regular charged attacks, making this theperfect mid-rangesword.
Recluse - Sword of Night and Flame
While you may be scratching your head thinking the best legendary for Recluse would be the Carian Regal Sceptre, this isn’t quite the case. In fact, Recluse can better utilise purple staves likeLusat’s StafforAzur’s Staff.
This sword is great because of its dual properties. Not only can you fire off a brilliant Night Comet sorcery, but also a large burst of flames, depending on what your enemy is weak to. And what’s more, you’ll be given a weapon buff based on the attack that you use, further empowering your moves.
Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Play Recluse
Here are the best weapons, relics, team comp, and strategies that you should use to play Recluse in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Of course, the real secret to mastering this weapon is through the combination of elements in your magic cocktail. Simply with this weapon, you can gainMagic and Fire residuesto brew powerful spells. If you have either a spell that gives holy or lightning, then you can create3 ingredient spells at will! This weapon is broken in the right hands.
Executor - Hand of Malenia
Finally, we have a brilliant katana for Executor. Because he scalesreally well in Dexterity and Arcane, you’ll get a massive amount of bleed damage simply by slashing Hand of Malenia a few times. And what’s more, this blade is huge, with a rather long reach compared to other katanas, where you need to be right in the enemy’s face to use them well.
This weapon has some great abilities. First of all, you’ll get the famousWaterfowl Dance, which, if you carry off the full move, will almost always proc bleed, even for the second and third time on certain bosses, where their bleed gauge is tougher to fill.
On top of that, as long as you’re wielding it, you’ll gain aBloodborne-esque healing buff, where, if you get hit, you can attack quickly to regain some of that lost HP. This means you can be way more aggressive in your fighting style, leading to more bleed procs and quicker fights. This is a must pick.
