Elden Ringplayers will need to learn how to get and summon a horse as it’s pretty important for traveling faster across the game’s world.
Unlike any other games developed by FromSoftware,Elden Ringfeatures a massive universe and a large-scale map that leaves you free to explore in the way you want without limiting your options to two or three paths.

Although fast traveling using Bonfires is still a thing inElden Ring, players will surely need a horse to traverse the long distances between various locations if they decide to discover the mysteries ofElden Ringrather than just jumping from location A to B.
Elden Ring: How to Summon a Horse
If you have already met Maiden Melina and received a ring called “Spectral Steed Whistle,” then all you need to do is to put that ring either in your Pouch or Inventory. If it’s in your Pouch, pressTriangle or Yto summon the horse. If it’s in your Inventory, you can summon it using yourD-Pad.
Now, if you don’t know how to get the ring, here is your guide: Players must activate three Sites of Grace to be eligible to receive the ring that allows them to summon a horse.

Sites of Grace are rest-points similar to Bonfires ofDark Souls. You will see them in your explorations with a floating yellow effect. The third time that you activate a Site of Grace, you will encounter Maiden Melina in a cutscene, who will give you the aforementioned ring.
