Finding The Golden Lineage Evergaol
The Godfrey Icon can be found east of theGrand Lift Of Dectus, in the Golden Lineage Evergaol. To get there, you will need to travel north until you reach the point where you may drop down. You will then need to ride south under the bridge across the land. You will get your Talisman after spending aStonesword Keyand fighting Godefroy, the Grafted in a boss fight. You can access this location via the Lift. But you can also get to the Atlus Plateau by another means, climbing the Ruin Strewn Precipice.
Unfortunately, you cannot fall down the cliff to reach the Golden Lineage Evergaol. This will lead to your death. It is essential first to go North and then circle around. Godefroy is Godrick’s first stage, with some adjustments to health and damage. You should be able to take out the giant lug as long as you know how to fight him.
Effects Of The Godfrey Icon
The Talisman is an exciting and handy item. As per its description, “A legendary talisman depicting the Elden Lord Godfrey. Raises charge attack power of sorceries, incantations, and skills. Godfrey was a ferocious warrior. When he vowed to become a lord, he took the Beast Regent Serosh upon his back to suppress the ceaseless lust for battle that raged within.”
More specifically, it raises the attack power of charged spells and skills by 15% and thus can be used to increase various stats. It is worth noting that it will not raise the power of Bow attacks.
