There are 2 side quests that involve Nerysin the game. If you’re intent on completing all side quests available at the Bazaar, this guide will walk you throughhow you accomplish Nerys’ first one, “True Friends.”

Bring your most powerful weapons for this quest.

Where To Start The “True Friends” Quest

Somewhere along the Main Questline, primarilyafter “The Only Way Out” and “Unruly Brother,”you might come across an interaction between Nerys and one of Carl’s (the Bazaar leader) henchmen inside the Bazaar.Join the conversation, and you’ll find out that Nerys is worried about her missing sons.

Finish your talk with her, and the “True Friends” side quest will then pop up.Remember to ‘track’ the side questas well, which will allow its quest markers to help guide you.

Exit the Bazaar, and then go right to find Dominik

Immediately afterward, exit the Bazaar and go right, following the walls. Near the end, you willfind Dominik, the lonesome boy wearing a red beanie. You might have met the boy a few times previously, outside the Bazaar.

Talk to him. He will give insights about Scott and Moe, but many of his dialogue options willrevolve around his pet dog, Buddy. After a while, Dominik will advise you to search for Scott and Moesomewhere along King William IX Road, nearby ‘Maple’ Windmill.

Scott, Moe, and Buddy’s location

Save Scott & Moe

At King William IX Road, Scott and Moe are inside one of the nearby buildings.Walk along the building walls on your right until you find an open window. Climb through it to enter the building, andthen fight your way through the idling zombies to exit the opposite side.

Search for an opening toaccess the building’s primary entrance doors. As soon as you open them, Scott will bump into you. After instructing him to return to the Bazaar, you need to enter the building to rescue Moe, who seems to be trapped somewhere inside.

Beware, though. There will beMANY Virals hibernating inside. Clear them all out to make the return journey safer and easier later. Once the coast is clear, use the broken ceilings, ledges, and walls to climb toward the floor where Moe is hiding, identified by a half-barricaded doorway.

Afterentering the small area by crouching underneath the wooden barricade, you will see Buddy lying wounded on the sofa to your right. Moe is found inside the room opposite the dog, presumably after Buddy had protected Moe from many of the infected earlier.

Open the door, and you will find Moe, safe and secure. However, in order to let him return to the Bazaar, you will need tokill all the new infected that have spawned after this specific instance. Carefully take them all out, preferably one by one, because some of them are strong, special types.

After all the enemies are dispatched, return to Moe. He will share details about why all of them were in the building in the first place, leading you to achoice:
