You’ll be dealing with pitch-black conditions where you’ll often need to use your lantern just to see around you.However, lighting your lantern makes you even more visible to foes like goblins and the undead.Turning your lantern on and off can be a bit of a balancing act. Oh, and make sure you have plenty of lantern oil for your travels.You don’t want to get caught without a light source when you need it most.
If you’re on the hunt for Golden Beetles to increase your carrying weight capacity, try season for them in the middle of the night. These glowing bugs are extremely visibile in the dark.
In order to collect Miasmite, you’ll need to hunt down phantoms.Fortunately, these glowing wisps are very visible from quite a distance. Just beware that they’re very fast, hard to hit, and seemingly resistant to simple physical attacks.Once you do take them down, you’ll be rewarded with some Miasmite for your efforts.Phantoms are not extremely common, even at night. So, if you’re looking for a lot of Miasmite, be prepared to spend a couple of nights on the hunt.Fortunately, Miasmite does seem to drop from every phantom you defeat.
