Dragon’s Dogma 2: 15 Best Weapons In The Game
Choosing the best weapons in any game is hard. We scoured the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 to present to you the best weapons available in the game.
Each Vocation can be individually ranked up, getting access to new skills and Augments to make them stronger. There are a total of ten vocations for players to unlock and play as; here is each one ranked.

Dragon’s Dogma 2
10Trickster
Make Your Enemies Run Aimlessly In Combat
The Tricksteroffers a very unique playstyle, as instead of focusing on direct combat, it focuses on controlling enemies. Through illusions, the Trickster can create fake walls and floors that enemies will perceive as real.
By dispensing incense with their basic attack and moving a clone, the Trickster can get enemy attention and make them jump at clones, ideally to fall off cliffs. While this combat seems fun, it is very situational, with the Trickster having only a few options depending on the environment. While their basic attack dispenses incense, it also does next to no damage.

Rain Arrows Down On Your Enemies
The Archer is one of the more straightforward vocations, acting exactly as it sounds. The bulk of all fighting and skills done by this Vocation will revolve around sitting back and firing arrows at enemies, trying to finish them off before they get too close.
While the Archer does have a few flashy moves to get around enemies that get close, their overall damage output and skills make this happen more often than it should. While there is damage to be done as an Archer, and they can easily hit flying or towering enemies, other vocations can achieve the same goals, just better.

Charge Up Deadly Attacks
The Warrioris one of the first new vocations players can unlock upon arriving in Vernworth. Fighting with a large two-handed sword, Warriors will use long charge-ups to deal massive damage to single or groups of enemies.
While there is a lot of damage to be done as a Warrior, this class does fall short in terms of lining up hits or charging attacks. Even the bigger monsters in the world can jump around a battlefield, and a Warrior charging up a devastating attack will be left in the dust. Its AOE potential is useful, but smaller enemies can quickly overwhelm the slower attacks of this Vocation.

A Healthy Mix Of Support & Offensive Magic
The Mage is useful equally in terms of damage and support. The best aspect of a Mage is their healing spell, which can effect all allies as long as they stay within the bubble. This is the perfect starting Vacation for those preferring a support role and fighting from the backline.
The Mage also has access to many different elemental spells, giving them the right offensive spell for any enemy. What separates a Mage from a Sorcerer is their defensive and supportive spells, offering a protective spell to further boost a melee character’s survivability in combat. This can be an overall useful vocation but may be better left for a pawn to let players stay focused on the action in combat.

Powerful Offensive Spells
The Sorcereris like the Mage but focuses more on offensive spells. In terms of support, the Sorcerer is able to give an ally’s weapon an elemental boost but can’t do much more in terms of healing and buffing like the Mage.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: 10 Tips & Tricks For Beginners
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is full of complex systems. This list breaks down some key information you’ll need to know when starting up the game.
Despite the lack of support, the Sorcerer has access to much more powerful offensive spells that are able to decimate groups of enemies or larger monsters. While the basic attacks of combat stay mostly unchanged, players will notice a large gap in terms of spell damage between the Mage and Sorcerer.
The Fighter is arguably one of the best starting vocations, fighting with a sword and shield. The role of a fighter is the party tank that draws enemy attention from squishier allies to let them focus on dealing damage. The Fighter’s shield alone blocks just about all physical damage, with additional combat skills further boosting any blocking of incoming damage.
While the party focus for this Vocation is drawing attention and defending, Fighters are able to output a surprising amount of damage with just a one-handed sword. With theright weapon, this class can not only tank all damage but quickly cut down any enemies before their attention is even drawn.
4Mystic Spearhand
The Best Of Magic & Agile Combat
The Mystic Spearhandis quite the flashy Fighter, having the ability to zip around the battlefield and take enemies down efficiently and with style. The telekinesis ability lets players move things with their mind, letting players act as a Jedi in a fantasy world.
Despite the focus on damage and agility in battle, the Mystic Spearhand can take more hits than one would suspect with their lighter armor. This Vocation hits the best of every world and is incredibly versatile to take down any enemy. The Mystic Spearhand also has access to incredibly powerful weapons that make their playstyle even more rewarding.
Dart Around & Swiftly Eliminate Enemies
The Thief is quick, both at dodging incoming attacks from enemies and climbing up to their heads to strike a weak point. Being a starting vocation, the Thief is a prime option to start the game with and rank up early to help players tackle some of the more difficult enemies.
While Thiefs may not be able to take a hit, they are quick enough and have options to make sure they aren’t getting hit in the first place, perfectly countering many large and slow enemies in the game. After dodging and climbing, the Thief has access to very powerful weapons and deadly abilities that can quickly take down even the biggest of enemies with ease.
2Magick Archer
Magical Glass Cannon
The Magick Archerarguably has one of the highest damage outputs in the game. This Vocation mixes the best of both Archer and Sorcerer and can deliver incredibly powerful single shots to disintegrate enemies or AOE attacks to make short work of groups.
This Vocation does suffer from a lack of armor or high health but will more often kill enemies before they can get close enough to attack. The Master Skill for this Vocation does have a very high risk and very high reward, so be sure to bring healing supplies for the lost health to use after combat ends shortly after its use.
Can Do Anything & Everything
The Warfarer is the final Vocation players can unlock, and understandably so. The Warfarer is able to do anything and every based on the Vocations you have already unlocked. This Vocation can equip any weapon or armor, switching between up to three weapons at a time while in combat.
Every unlocked Vocation the Arisen has willearn DCPand rank up while this Vocation is equipped, giving players access to even more combat skills and core skills to equip and choose from. This Vocation can be built in any way, with any combinations, leading to the greatest and most versatile Vocation in the game that all players should equip and use ASAP.
