However, it was always speculated that there would be non-canon content in the game from the originalDBZ,Daima, orGrand Tour.

This seems to have been confirmed now as the Saikyo Jump magazine recently published a feature onDragon Ball: Sparking Zero, which was shared on X/Twitter by userHype, and a translated scan was shared byThe Blue Waifu. The scans feature images of Vegeta and Goku showing their signature moves, mostly from the game’s trailer, but some also show non-canon attacks.

One of the images shows Goku firing golden beams in his Super Saiyan form, which seems like a Ki blast at first. However, it is the Super Dragon Twin Fists move fromDBZ: Fusion Rebornthat was released back in 1995. Goku used this powerful move against the villain of the film Janemba, and this confirms that the game will feature non-canonical content.
More Non-Canon References Could Be in the Game
TheBudokai Tenkaichititles also have many non-canon references, so there’s more reason to believe that they may be coming to the game.
The original Dragon Fist move has also been a part of theBudokai Tenkaichiseries, and if it makes it to the game, there might be many more coming. This move being in the game could also mean that characters like Janemba and Z Gogeta are included as wel.

There are also chances that the game might also featureGrand Tourreferences that are considered non-canon, but fans are advised to take this with a pinch of salt and wait for official confirmation from the developers. Fans are beyond excited upon knowing this and are desperate for the game’s launch, but there is no information on the release date from the developers as of now.
