Dragon Age: The Veilguard Has Been a Success for BioWare, EA
It was a long time coming forDragon Age: The Veilguard, andthe wait has been worth it. Leading into the game’s launch, Electric Arts CEO Andrew Wilson was taking a victory lap surrounding the game’s success.
He emphasized that BioWare rallied around what made them a beloved studio in the past to help makeDragon Age: The Veilguardwhat it is. While discussing the publisher’s financial reports for Q2 2024, Wilson said BioWare was able to combine immersive worlds, deep characters, and strong storytelling during development forDragon Age: The Veilguard.
It saw immediate commercial success. Despite the game’s release at the end of the month, it was still one of thebest-selling games of October, coming in at number 6th on the sales charts.
