With the launch of theNintendoSwitch 2 rapidly approaching, there’s a lot to look forward to. It begs the question: what will people be diving into first? Like many of you, I will immediately boot upMario Kart World. Others will surely be eager to see the enhancements that await us in Switch 2 versions of games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
For those looking to trip down memory lane, threeGameCube gamesare available at launch for Nintendo Switch: Soulcalibur II, F-Zero GX, andThe Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

Here’s Why Nintendo Underestimated Switch 2 Demand
Nintendo didn’t expect demand for the Switch 2 to be this high, and now we know why.
There’s a strong chance that for the foreseeable future, if I’m not playing Mario Kart World, then I’ll be jammingF-Zero GX.

As you’re able to see, there’s a lot to look forward to with the Nintendo Switch 2, even if we’re not exactly happy about the price tag. One feature, however, doesn’t have many, if any, fans.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Camera Has Little To No Interest
This shouldn’t be a shock after how poorly it was demonstrated during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. Its upcoming camera has almost no buzz, with most people saying they do not plan to purchase it. Out of the 50 people who were able to pre-order a Switch 2 console at my localGameStop, only one person included the camera in their transaction: my wife, who is doing it solely out of morbid curiosity.
Those sentiments are echoed in a recent thread on the Nintendo Switch 2subreddit. The poster asks, “Are you guys gonna buy or use camera for NS2? If you’re gonna use it, is it because of game gimmicks or communication?” The first 20 or so comments say “No,” though others chime in, saying they have some interest if they can see compelling uses for it.

This Nintendo Switch 2 Feature Is Leaving Fans Frustrated
Nintendo has updated its privacy policy, leaving some feeling a little uneasy headed into the Nintendo Switch 2 launch.
That’s not to say that the Switch 2 camera isn’t without an audience. One responder says, “Yeah, for [Super Mario Party] Jamboree. Mainly for my daughter though.”

We’ll see if Nintendo or other third-party developers can introduce clever uses for the Switch 2’s camera. As of now, though, most people aren’t impressed with its potential.
