The singer was also reportedly joined by singer Rita Ora and was given some of the best seats in the venue.
Perry captioned the post with, ‘Got to see an old friend shine tonight’, which sent fans of the singers into a frenzy. The duo was previously known for their long feud, which ran from 2014 to 2019. The feud reportedly began when Taylor Swift hinted at the songBad Bloodbeing about Katy Perry in an interview withRolling Stone.

Swift mentioned in the interview that she felt insulted and confused by her relationship with Katy Perry and that she never knew what they shared. She said that the feud was about something related to the business and not about a guy. Taylor Swift said,
“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'”
Taylor Swift mentioned that Perry tried to sabotage her arena tour by hiring a bunch of backup dancers who were supposed to be a part of her tour. Though Swift never mentioned her name in the interview, Perry also threw shade in a tweet after the article dropped (viaX).

Katy Perry Opened Up About Her Feud With Taylor Swift
WhileTaylor Swiftspoke about her side of the story in her Rolling Stone interview, Katy Perry decided to clarify her point of view and the history of the feud in an interview with James Corden in 2017. TheDark Horsesinger went on the Carpool Karaoke segment ofThe Late Late Show with James Cordenand mentioned the misunderstandings between the two pop stars.
Perry said that the three backing dancers who were supposed to go on tour with Taylor Swift were originally part of her crew but had asked her if they could go as she was not on a record cycle. Perry said that she agreed to it but asked them to come back when she does decide to go back on tour. According to Perry, when she asked the dancers to come back, they were fired by Swift’s management.
Katy Perry then went on to say that she was done with the feud and she wanted it to be over. She said,
“Honestly, it’s really like she started it and it’s time for her to finish it…But what I want to say is that I’m ready for that BS to be done. Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something, and there’s gonna be a reaction, and trust me, daddy, there’s gonna be a reaction… I think, personally, that women together, not divided, and none of these petty bulls—…can heal the world”
The feud finally seemed to be over when Taylor Swift reportedly extended an olive branch to Katy Perry to end the fight between them (viaTime). The two have since appeared in music videos together and have also been supportive of each others’ works.
