To better help players know what to expect, a note of this has been added. In addition, ahead of Diablo 4’s second season, the images for this article have been edited to be in line with new site guidelines.

Where To Find Salt Begets Salt

Salt Begets Salt is located in the Untamed Scarps area of the Dry Steppe. To pick up the quest, speak with Jargal just outside the Jirandai Waypoint. Upon speaking with him, he will give you cryptic instructions on finding his goat Tuji, saying that a jealous merchant stole him and headed toward Qara Yisu.

How To Complete Salt Begets Salt

In order to complete this quest, you’ll need to find Tuji. This is easier said than done, as the area mentioned by Jargal is quite far away and difficult to search. Why, you ask? Well, because Qara Yisu is a Stronghold for the Dry Steppe region. In order to find Tuji:

Salt Begets Salt Quest Rewards

Completing this side quest nets you +30Renownthanks to the changes to the Renown system in Season 1. Additionally, it gives gold and experience scaled to your character’s current level. Completing the quest will always net you this Renown on the Eternal Realm, but will only work once a season in the Seasonal Realm.

As thanks for your help, Jargal will also present you with aSalvage Cache. Open this to obtain several randomly rolled crafting materials. Possible drops from Salvage Caches include:
