Destiny 2’sSeason of the Seraphhas now entered week 8, bringing with it a smaller batch of seasonal challenges as we near the end of the seasonal challenges (week 9 traditionally brings the end to the weeks of challenges). While there are fewer total challenges this week, the 6 tasksthemselves, and the rewards for completing them, are still worth pursuing.

This week tasks you with playing through several different activities, seasonal and otherwise, to progress in these challenges. Suit up, Guardian. You’ve got some Bright Dust to earn.

Seraph’s Shield III

Complete the Exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” on Legend difficulty.

Defeat combatants with precision damage anywhere in the system using Pulse Rifles.

Rewards: Seraphic Umbral Energy +8, Challenger XP++

Operation: Seraph’s Shieldoffers fantastic solo-player experience, though you can play through it with a fireteam as well. For this week’s challenge, you’ll need to complete the Exotic mission onLegend difficulty. Fortunately, this part of the challenge is retroactive, so if you’ve already completed it and don’t fancy another go, you don’t need to do it again. ThePulse Rifle eliminationsdon’t need to take place in any specific activity or playlist, so that stage of the challenge should be easy to complete in no time.

Umbral Focusing III

Focus IKELOS weapon engrams at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M.

Rewards: Challenger XP+

Yet another challenge that is retroactive, you might very well boot up and find this challenge is ready to claim the reward. Don’t get too excited, though; it’s merelyChallenger XP+, so a nice minor boost, but nothing to write home about.

Gambit Ornament

Acquire the Gambit ornament for Veles-X.

Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust

A bit of a long-haul reward, but one which you might have been working toward all season. to acquire theGambit ornament for Velex-X, you’ll need to level up your Gambit rank to 17,resetit, and get back up to rank 16. It’s a bit of a slog if you’re not a huge Gambit fan, so keep an eye out for any upcoming double XP weekends for Gambit.

Flawless Heists

Complete Heist Battlegrounds in the playlist or Legend Heist Battlegrounds without dying.

While definitely a tall order, depending on your fireteam, you’ll want to play extra cautiously in Heist Battlegrounds toavoid dying in 3 separate battlegrounds.Up your Resilienceto help you stay alive longer, and use cover and corners to your advantage. You can do this, Guardian.

Destiny 2 Seraph Week 3 Station

Seraph’s Calibration

Calibrate Pulse Rifles, Fusion Rifles, and Power Grenade Launchers. Rapidly defeating combatants and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.

Rewards: Challenger XP++, Bright Dust

In the wake of some of these other challenges, Seraph’s Calibration is a bit of a breath of fresh air. Simply get eliminations with Pulse Rifles, Fusion Rifles, and/or Power Grenade Launchers. Choose your favorite (or loadout with all 3) and get to slaying. Rapidly defeating enemies speeds this up, so consider heading over to theMoon’s Altar of Sorrowsfor some hordes of Hive to put down.

Trial By Firing Squad

Win multiple rounds in the Trials of Osiris.

Rewards: Trials of Osiris Weapon, Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust

Trials begins every Friday just after the daily reset. While this might initially look a bit daunting, you onlyneed to win 20 rounds, not 20 full games. So even if you aren’t particularly great at PVP, you can definitely finish this challenge out with enough time put in.
