After saving Crow, Commander Zavala, and Caiatl from the Nightmare affection, now we have received a new mission in the Destiny 2 Bound in Sorrow questline as Week 7 has already begun.
The story-driven questline inSeason of the Hauntedhas been quite successful so far, as the players are surprised with the deep narratives digging into the background stories of some important characters such as Commander Zavala and Caiatl.
Although we managed to defeat Calus' Nightmare army a few times so far, there is still work to do to completely sever the connection of Leviathan to the Pyramid. So, let’s get started with the new tasks in Destiny 2 Bound in Sorrow Week 7 and put an end to Calus' corrupted plans!
Step 47 - Speak With Eris at the Crown of Sorrow in the HELM
Open the Destination tap in the Director and go to the HELM to receive the information on your final missions of Bound in Sorrow.
Step 48 & 49 - Complete Tiers of Nightmare Containment and Create a Bound Presence
Go to Castellum in Moon and complete three tiers of Nightmare Containment. You don’t need to complete them successfully, even a failure counts.
At the end of Tier 3, you need to interact with Harvester to create a Bound in Presence. Keep in mind that this requires you to have at least 500 Vestiges of Dread. If you don’t have enough resources, you can farm Vestiges in Derelict Leviathan or Crucible.
The Tier 3 boss fight has been changed, and it now spawns three Abomination when it gets gains immunity against your attacks. Make sure to complete the tier with at least two friends if you want to finish it successfully.
Step 50 - Complete the Catharsis Mission
This is a new mission available on the left side of Castellum on the Moon. The recommended Power Level for this quest is 1560.
Once you launch the mission, you will need to defeat a bunch of enemies and a mini-boss. Then you can interact with the door to open it. Progress through the Throne corridors to reach a round platform with a bunch of Nightmares above it. The platform will go down, leading you to a portal to Chantry of the Darkest Hour.
Now, you should fight against Calus along with Caiatl. This is a three-phase battle. Make sure to use the special weapons that will spawn next to the Harvester to deal the utmost damage to Calus. At the end of each phase of the battle, you should return to Caiatl and stand next to the Harvester, inside the shield and avoid the enemies from destroying the Harvester.
A cinematic cut-scene will be premiered at the end of the battle.
Step 51 - Speak With Eris at the Crown of Sorrow in the HELM
This is the final step for the Bound in Sorrow questline. Return to HELM for one last time to receive your rewards from Eris and put an end to this season’s story-driven questline.
