A BIG Cyberpunk 2077 upgrade is coming in 2022 and recent reports suggest that this weekâs new stream will include a PS5 and Xbox Series X release date.
Reports are rife today that the big Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen upgrade is going to be revealed during a new streaming broadcast.
The development team at CD Projekt Red announced plans to host its next event on February 15, complete with fresh news on whatâs being prepped in 2022. The PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game has been a long-anticipated launch and has already been delayed beyond its normal window.
But there are hopes that this week will see the final next-gen release date of Cyberpunk 2077 announced.
How To Watch New Cyberpunk 2077 Stream
As confirmed by CD Projekt Red, a new Cyberpunk 2077 stream is being hostedthis week on Twitch.
This is expected to cover everything concerning the gameâs future, including new ports for next-gen consoles.
The Cyberpunk 2077 stream starts on February 15 at 3pm GMT (4pm CET) or 9am EDT if you live in North America.

Cyberpunk 2077 Future Updates
The latest on the situation posted on the CD Projekt Red website reads: âWe are planning to release the free, next-gen update for Cyberpunk 2077 in 2022. Weâre aiming for the first quarter of the year and weâll reveal more when we have more to share.
âyou’re able to expect more in the way of patches â both small and large â to be released in the future. Our plans for supporting Cyberpunk 2077 in the long-term are unchanged, and we will continue to introduce updates and patches to give all players across all consoles and PCs a better experience with the game.â
Other reports are coming in today that the Xbox Series X version of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Microsoft Store has been updated and is now showing an Optimised badge (Gamespot). There has also been a few interactions that seem to have confirmed a big Cyberpunk 2077 update is coming our way, via social media.
A post from journalist Tom Warren pointing out the Optimised badge on the Xbox Store got a reaction from the official game account that you can see above. It should be noted that we donât have a release date for when the next-gen version of Cyberpunk will be playable on consoles, along with other promised features and free DLC that has yet to materialize.
