While the game is still over 6 months away, it’s hard to deny thatÂCyberpunk 2077is easily among the most anticipated games on the horizon. Of course, one of the most exciting aspects of the game has been its notable starpower, while an unexpected voice will be making their way into the game for fans of another hit CD Projekt Red franchise.CD Projekt Red’s Radek Adam Grabowski shared an interesting bit of information on the upcomingÂCyberpunk 2077that happens to call back to the very early history of the studio’s other beloved property,ÂThe Witcher.According to Grabowski, the Polish voice of Johnny Silverhand in the game, who is being played by Keanu Reeves, will be done by actor Michal Zebrowski. While his name might be unknown to most, longtime fans ofThe Witcherfranchise will recognize him as the actor that portrayed Geralt of Rivia in the very first portrayal of the beloved Witcher on-screen.Zebrowski played the role in 2001’sÂThe Hexer, which was the first on-screen adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series (which would later inspire CD Projekt Red’s game series). The film, which debuted to a poor critical reception upon release, would be followed the next year by a TV series that was also titled asÂThe Hexer. The 13-episode Polish TV series had a mildly warmer critical reaction, but still seems to have been leagues behind what it could have been. That said,Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of the serieswill hopefully give us the on-screen adaptation of Geralt and his world that we have been waiting for, with the series expected to debut sometime later this year.Cyberpunk 2077will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 25, 2025, with the game also to arrive on Google Stadia in the future. In the meantime, you canpreorder the game now over on Amazon.
