The new one shot by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the mangaka ofFire PunchandChainsaw Man, first got its April 10 release date announced byShihei Lin, the editor of Fujimoto at Shueisha. Shihei Lin later published the first visual for the manga and revealed its title,Sayonara Eri (Goodbye Eri). It was also revealed this will be a 200 pages long one shot. This makes it much longer thanLook Back, the previous one shot released by Fujimoto, which was around 130 pages long.

Look Backwas a tragic but hopeful story, partly inspired by the arson attack ofKyoto Animation, so many fans are expectingSayonara Erito be either a similar story or a complete change of pace.
