For those who were suffering from the black screen glitch in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in the past few days, you’ll be glad to hear that Treyarch has fixed with the latest server update for the shooter. Players do not need to download anything, as the game client will be patched automatically once they connect to the game’s servers.
Alongside the Black Ops 6 black screen bug, Treyarch also fixed a few other issues, though none of them affect game balance or any in-game items.

In addition to the technical fixes, the server-side update for Black Ops 6 today also brought in the fan-favorite Nuketown map free for all players. There’s also a new Nuketown 24/7 playlist available in-game right now, where game modes Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint are available on the Nuketown map in every match. If that’s not incentive enough for you to jump in, Treyarch also triggered double XP and double weapon XP as well, which should help players unlock weapon attachments and in-game items much, much faster.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Up In Arms Regarding Office Working Policy
Recent policy changes from Activision higher-ups were not received well by at least one dev team for the game.
In development for four years by Treyarch, Black Ops 6 has the distinction as the Call of Duty game in recent memory with the longest development time. It seems to have paid off, as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadellaannouncedthis week that Black Ops 6 has broken a good number of Call of Duty records. While no specific numbers were shared, Black Ops 6 is now the most played Call of Duty game on day one and in total numbers of players, too.
