Everyone wants to do their best, and to do your best in anFPSlike anyCall of Dutygame, you need the best weapons.
The maps inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6are some of the smallest in the series, andmobility is higher than ever with Omnimovement. Naturally, meaning a weapon class like SMGs will dominate with their high mobility.
However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for other weapons. While most of the maps are small, not all the sight lines are, so there is still a bit of variety in the best weapons in Multiplayer.

LMGs are notorious for having bad mobility, and while this gun’s mobility doesn’t come close to comparing to assault rifles, SMGs, and even other LMGs, it’s not as punishing as you’d expect.
With attachments such as Fast Mag, Ranger Grip, Commando Grip, and Balanced Stock to increase mobility, you can minimize many of the XMG’s downsides while still having superior time to kill, ammo capacity, and accuracy over most assault rifles.
However, mobility is crucial in Black Ops 6, and no matter your attachments, you will be at a disadvantage there.
This gun is best suited for a defensive play style with lots of pre-aiming, ideally in and around objectives in modes like Hardpoint and Domination.
A Chimera Of A Gun
Assault Rifle
This gun is like a hybrid between an SMG and an assault rifle. It has rapid time to kill up close, but that drops off at a fairly close range. However, it doesn’t drop off nearly as severely as the SMGs, making it considerably more versatile.
One of the heaviest downsides of the gun is its small ammo capacity. This can be somewhat negated with Extended Mags. However, using Flip Mags to increase reload speed and Gung-Ho to increase your movement speed while reloading will be more helpful if you intend to play aggressively since they don’t sacrifice mobility.
This assault rifle has a built-in suppressor, so perks that conceal your location, like Ghost, will synergize well with this gun.
This gun is unlocked at level 55, the highest level before entering Prestige, making it a good candidate tospend a Prestige Token on to permanently unlock.

8Marine SP
I Call Shotgun!
Always Unlocked
With mobility being so high and most maps being small, shotguns are more practical than ever.
This gun can get one-shot kills up to a decent range for a shotgun, especially with the right attachments.
When making a class with this gun, it’s vital to consider whether you plan on hip-firing or aiming down sight, as attachments to tighten the pellet spread depend on this.
ADS builds with attachments like the Modified Choke and Tactical Laser have a further range, balancing out the weakest characteristic of this gun. Hip-fire builds with attachments like the Full Choke and Steady Aim Laser have better mobility, highlighting one of this gun’s strongest aspects.
Either way, you will want to use Gung-Ho with this gun as you reload it a single shell at a time unless you opt for the Quick Load Barrel.
Close And Personal
This weapon has an incredibly fast TTK at short range. However, the damage drop-off is pretty intense. Unless you’re up against someone using a shotgun, you will dominate close-quarters encounters with this gun. Unlike shotguns, it still allows you to take out enemies at medium range if you get the drop on them, making it much more versatile.
The reinforced barrel will increase the damage range and bullet velocity at the sweet spot to extend this weapon’s effective range by a decent amount. This will give you a fighting chance against assault rifles and other SMGs at a medium range, even if they’re not ideal situations for this gun.
This gun already has good mobility, but given it’s at its best up close, attachments to further increase its mobility, like the CQB Grip and Balanced Stock, won’t hurt.
One Shot, One Kill
Sniper Rifle
It wouldn’t be Call of Duty without one sniper rifle standing out above the rest.
This gun is a one-shot kill to the torso and up. It has a slow, bolt-action fire rate, but there’s no better option for holding long angles,which can still be found on some maps, and its high damage will make it the weapon of choice for quickscoping.
Rapid Fire is a fantastic attachment for this gun as it increases the sluggish fire rate, and the increased recoil that comes as a downside isn’t as impactful as it would be on weapons with faster fire rates.
The Quickdraw Grip will significantly increase ADS speed. However, the grip also increases flinch, so you will want to pair that with the Heavy Stock, as flinch can ruin your shots.
Headhunter
This iconic weapon is the hardest-hitting full-auto assault rifle in the game, with good range and a fast TTK, especially if you get headshots.
However, that comes at the cost of having the most recoil of any assault rifle, which can make it hard to get those headshots. Recoil Springs, Compensator, and Vertical Foregrip are attachments to consider for reducing vertical and horizontal recoil and making this gun more controllable.
If you can handle the gun’s recoil, the CHF Barrel can hasten the weapon’s TTK when getting headshots, but it makes it even more demanding to control, making the attachment a high-risk, high-reward option.
Seize The Gap!
The first SMG available isn’t a weapon to sleep on. It has all-around good stats and the longest effective range in its class.
The Reinforced Barrel will help extend that range, and the Recoil Springs will reduce recoil, making it easier to land shots in those medium-range encounters.
This gun is a great all-purpose option, but like all SMGs, it excels at closer-range encounters. It may have better range than other guns in its class, allowing for more flexibility, but that doesn’t mean you should try to take on people from across the map with it.
What’s Reloading?
This gun comes with all of the benefits of an SMG but with a 64-round magazine.
While it technically has the lowest TTK of any SMG, it’s by such a minuscule amount that it won’t hold you back. It also has the least recoil of any SMGs, making those mid-ranged engagements much more practical.
Even with that large magazine, it excels in mobility over assault rifles, being only marginally slower in most mobility stats than other SMGs. This means a smaller magazine to increase mobility further is practical.
The Reinforced Barrel will extend this weapon’s range, and Rapid Fire can narrow the TTK gap with other SMGs since the PP-919 will be less affected by Rapid Fire’s downsides.

Mobility Is King
This gun dominated the Beta, and it hasn’t gotten any weaker. The damage drop-off is strong, but it will melt any enemies within 15m while having some of the best mobility of any primary in the game.
Given how important mobility is in Black Ops 6, it’s no wonder this weapon dominated the beta, with the main thing preventing it from being more common is that it’s not unlocked until level 43.
Like other SMGs, the Reinforced Barrel attachment will increase this weapon’s effective range and offset some downsides. The Ranger Foregrip and Balanced Stock attachments can improve mobility further and keep you running circles around the competition.
Like A Swiss Army Knife
This well-rounded and easy-to-use assault rifle has everything you would want. It’s easy to control, has a good TTK, a forgiving fire rate, and is effective at all ranges.
The only downside is that it doesn’t specialize in any area, meaning it won’t ever have the fastest TTK, but it will always be well above average.
This means that, in terms of attachments, you have many viable options. You could extend the range and handling, or focus on mobility, and each choice could work out for you. It’s truly a jack-of-all-trades and never a bad pick for your loadout.
