Being based on the novel of the same name by Bonnie Garmus, the series is a historical drama and Brie Larson was mesmerized by it. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel onJimmy Kimmel Live, the actress talked about how“immersive”it was.
“It gets a little confusing though. For me there was one moment where I had to just like lay on the floor and go like ‘I’m actually in downtown Los Angeles. My name is Brie Larson. It is 2023. It is not whatever’ cause I started to get confused”

She further continued,
“Because it’s so immersive in that way where everybody’s dressed so differently. There’s nothing about it so you feel really transported (in a good way) but then when you’re in a sound stage all day, I think it gets a little confusing”

As perMCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios(via/Film), Larson stated that she had portrayed so many characters that she got confused.
“I realized that if you’ve been acting since you were seven, there are a lot of stories inside you that are not actually yours. It’s a blessing to play all these different characters, but it’s also confusing. And overwhelming.”

In another interview withEntertainment Tonight, Larson revealed that,
“I don’t want Marvel to come for me, but there is something. There is definitely something to answer your question that I would want to say, but I am not going to do so.”
