After a cut-throat match with Team W, Team Z is ready for their next match against the top-scoring Team V. The match isn’t going to be an easy one, and it’s apparent in the previous episode. Team V has some of the most skilled players that will be hard for our heroes to handle, especially their top scorers, Tsurugi Zantetsu, Mikage Reo, and Nagi Seishiro. Team V hasn’t lost a single match in the Blue Lock regime until now, so will they be able to maintain their record, or will Team Z make them taste defeat?

What Happened Previously On Blue Lock?

Nagi leaves practice early, which bothers Zantetsu, but Reo believes that Nagi doesn’t need to practice as he considers him a gifted soccer player. He then recalls his past, where we see Reo living a lonely life and not being able to find his heart in anything except soccer. But his parents don’t want him to become a soccer player and take over their family business instead. We then see Reo meeting Nagi in school, who just wants a chilled-out life doing nothing. But Reo realized Nagi’s exceptional talent, and he was the one to convince him to play soccer.

Now Team Z’s meeting starts, and as expected, everyone is furious at Kuon for betraying the team. But Isagi says that they still need him for the next match. Kuon replies that he will not be playing the match against Team V as he is still the top scorer. Ego then appears on the screen and comments on how the top scorer needs to maintain their position and come up with a strategy to help the team score more goals.

Isagi admires Barou a lot, so he asks how he could play like him, after which they play one-on-one, and Isagi analyzes his strategy. Now the match between Team Z and Team V starts, and the former has a good start as they manage to steal the ball. Gagamaru is about to score a goal but misses. Soon, the game turns in Team V’s favor when Nagi and Reo execute their team play and score a goal.
