Call of Dutyfans were sent down a crazy rabbit hole yesterday after supposed new teasers for Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode appeared online.Activisionquickly reached out to various content creators to clarify that these teasers were not associated with the studio and should be considered fake, but due to the nature of Black Ops 6’s theme, fans have no idea what to believe.
It all started a couple of days ago whena postappeared on the Black Ops Cold War subreddit questioning an old Easter Egg that was seemingly never completed. The Easter Egg in question is related to the Wardialer program in the game’s campaign, which can be found inside of a terminal. It allows users to input a series of numbers that many believeshouldunlock something, but nobody has ever found out what the Wardialer Easter Egg is for…until now!

“It Is A Core Foundational Mechanic”: Black Ops 6 Devs Say Omnimovement Cannot Be Toggled On Or Off
Omnimovement isn’t an optional mechanic, so you better get used to it.
The same Reddit user (who has since deleted their account) thenposted a follow-upthe very next day. “I got bored and just decided to leave my PC on overnight dialling numbers. When I came back the next morning, the terminal gave this super weird error and I couldn’t clear it,” the user said. They then attached a short video showcasing the error on the terminal, which you can see below.

Various fans and content creators, such as MrRoflWaffles, who dove deep into the rabbit hole in theirlatest videoandlive stream, then discovered that there was an email address hidden in the error message from the Reddit user’s post. It was at this point that the community began emailing the address and receiving cryptic responses with attached images.
These teasers quickly went viral within the Call of Duty community, but popular news account CharlieIntel says it contacted Activision regarding the supposed “teasers,” and the studio told the content creator that this was not related to them in any way.

Due to the fact that the original poster has no idea which sequence of numbers was entered into the Wardialer to get the error message and subsequent email address, nobody has been able to replicate the error in-game to see if this email address is legitimately found within Black Ops Cold War, or if it’s just a damn good fake from an internet troll.
But the community was convinced that Activision was lying, mainly since Black Ops 6’s theme revolves around the slogan: “The truth lies,” so the conspiracy theories continued.

After various fans and content creators uncovered a handful of different images from the email address, MrRoflWaffles then realised that the email address was also a website. After heading over to the website, the YouTuber was met with a prompt asking for a password. Eventually, after hours of research, the password was discovered. Underneath a few cryptic messages and images, a date of July 22nd and the time 1:15PM was revealed, so the only thing left to do now is to wait and see if this has all been one elaborate ruse, or if new Black Ops 6 teasers are on the way.
