At the moment, this is only leaked information and isn’t an official announcement by Ubisoft about the upcomingAssassin’s Creed Red, and this isn’t the only teaser we received through this LinkedIn page, as we also got a glimpse at some of the other projects that are in the works at Ubisoft.
What Is Assassin’s Creed Red, and Why Has It Been Leaked This Way?
For those who may not know,Assassin’s Creed Redis an upcoming title from the developer Ubisoft and will be the next mainline title in the franchise. After many years of the franchise constantly adapting its development process and alternating between different locations, gamers are finally receiving the one location they have been begging for.
As stated in theLinkedIn profile of Arisa Lagunzad(business development and brand partnership), theAssassin’s Creedfan base has been asking nonstop for years for the franchise to finally make its appearance within Japan and its rich history.
Now gamers can finally relax, as we now know that the next game in the franchise will be set in Japan and that the many leaks in the past have been rather accurate. What makes this so interesting is the fact that it has been teased for a 2024 release.
Until now, we had no idea when we could expect this upcoming title, but after this LinkedIn post, we now have a smaller release window that we can focus on. Along with this, there has also been a tease regarding some future projects that are also being worked on at Ubisoft, which many gamers will be rather shocked to hear.
When Could We See Assassin’s Creed Red Releasing, and What Are These New Projects That Have Been Teased?
So far, there hasn’t been any kind of trailer, announcement, or tease from Ubisoft regarding an official release date forAssassin’s Creed Red. But now that we have received this leaked information on LinkedIn, we can now narrow down the estimated release date for the game.
Since there has been no news, trailers, or gameplay regardingAssassin’s Creed Red, we can only assume that we will begin receiving announcements like that in the coming weeks, which will hopefully provide us with a more exact release window, but if we had to take a guess, it would most likely be looking at an August to September release date.
Even though this is only an estimate, it is highly likely that this will be close to the release window, as it is very unlikely that Ubisoft will attempt to release such a big title early in the year without even showing a trailer, so we can only assume that they will want time for the game announcements and trailers to circulate before it releases.
What made this leak so interesting is the fact that the leaked information isn’t just teasing a future game title; a manga and podcast series could also be in the works. This isn’t particularly major news, but it does beg the question as to whether or not Ubisoft is looking to expand theAssassin’s Creedfranchise into more avenues in the future.
