She is the caretaker in the relationship and makes sure that Affleck has everything he needs. Lopez said,
Ben wears the pants. He definitely wears the pants. We respect each other and that’s the important thing. I like to cook, and I like to verify he has things. I’m a caretaker. I mean, everybody who works with me calls me ‘Ma’ because I like that; I like to take care of people, and it’s no different in our relationship. I like to make sure that he has everything he needs.
