Bandai Namco will be talking all thingsÂDragon BallÂat their newly announced Dragon Ball Games Supr Showcase. Fans can tune in on January 14 viaTwitchfrom 4 to 5 p.m. PST. While it’s unclear exactly what will be announced, the publisher has promised reveals, news, and interviews. you may see the full announcement below:

I’m particularly amped for this showcase becauseÂDragon Ball FighterZÂwasmy number one game of 2018, and one of my favorite games of all time. I also have a soft spot forÂDragon Ball Xenoverse 2,Âwhich has garnered a dedicated player base since its launch in late 2016.  Both of these titles will most certainly be present during the showcase, and I can only imagine what Bandai Namco has in store for us.

Personally, I’d like to think that Arc System Works is working on a second season pass for FighterZ. We’ve seen other fighting games take this seasonal approach with games likeÂStreet Fighter VÂandÂTekken 7.ÂAs for content that could potentially come toÂXenoverse 2,Âthe sky’s the limit. The title did recently receive DLC based on the upcoming anime film,ÂDragon Ball Super: Broly.Â

At the end of December,ÂFighterZÂwasmysteriously pulledfrom a range of different eSports competitions. As of today, we still don’t have the reasoning behind the removals. However, Katsuhiro Harada, of theÂTekkenÂseries,Âcommentedon Bandai Namco’s eSports strategy in regards to games likeÂFighterZ, Tekken 7,ÂandÂSoul Calibur VI.ÂHarada was also recently given the role of leading and supervising Bandai Namco’s eSports Strategy Team. Hopefully, we’ll hear more about what’s exactly going on in the competitive community of FighterZ.

BothÂDragon Ball FighterZÂandÂDragon Ball Xenoverse 2Âare available now on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
