I feel like I want to finish it… it feels like I’m nearly at the end of a marathon.
Thus, it’s quite evident from his statement that he is more concerned about the ending of the series and his main character, Eren than his overall journey.
Initially, Eren’s character was also compared with Thorfinn, the protagonist ofVinland Saga.This was because although the two characters were extremely similar in many aspects, and their journeys took a big turn when they grew older. Thorfinn went through character development and understood the outcome of violence, while Eren just started using it as an end to justify his means.
