Freeing Dr. Garrow
The Dr. Garrow leads becomes available once youspeak to her for the first time at Skethermoor Prison. To gain access to this location, you must accept Captain Sim’s offer to interrogate her. He will grant you access to the prison.
When speaking to Dr. Garrow in her jail cell, she will ask you to help her escape, which officially begins the “Dr. Garrow” lead. Before you help her escape, I recommend getting information out of her for Captain Sims and bringing that information back to him.
I noticed that giving Captain Sims information gathered from Dr. Garrow BEFORE freeing her will result in the soldiers not suspecting you when you help her escape.
To free Dr. Garrow from her cell, you mustfirstfind the Signal Redirector.Luckily, it can befound nearby in the Security room, with a clear sign above the door stating “Security.“The Signal Redirector can be foundon the shelf at the back of this room.

With the Signal Redirector in hand,head to the Control Roomon the opposite side of the Security room. The door to the Control Room is locked, butoff to the right is a small crawlspacein the wall you can climb through.
Next, use the Signal Redirector on the switch above the yellow generator to navigate power to the master control switch. Lastly, go to the master control switch andpress the button to free all prisoners, including Dr. Garrow, from their jail cells.
Dr. Garrow will make a run for it through the nearby Interchange door and lock it behind her. Now, we need to find Dr. Garrow inside the Interchange.
Finding Dr. Garrow in the Interchange
Dr. Garrow can befound in the Central Processor section of the Interchange. This is the main room thatall Interchange doors lead to, so it doesn’t matter which one you use to reach it.
Approach Dr. Garrow in the Central Processor to speak to her about what had just happened. She’ll be pleased that you helped her escape and she will even offer a way toescape the quarantine. However, she wants you to help her with a few more tasks first.
Dr. Garrow tasks you withfinding her Research Notesthat are on the lower level of Robotics. We explain how to reach this location in the following section.
How to Reach Robotics
Robotics can be accessed through the Skethermoor or Slatten Dale Interchange doors. Whichever way you decide to reach Robotics,you’ll need an Atomic Batteryto place in the Data Store to open the door to the open area of the Interchange (under Central Processor).
You will find a large sign with the words"ROBOTICS"above a yellow door, which is your next destination.
How to Reach the Lower Level of Robotics
As you explore Robotics, you’ll find white signs pointing you in the direction of the Lower Level. Even without the signs, finding the lower level of Robotics is pretty straightforward as the path is very linear.
However, before you’re able to reach the Lower Level, you need toturn the power on to both the Left and Right Wings. Doing so will turn the power on to the main door, which leads to the Lower Level.
Turning on Power to the Right Wing
The power to the right wing can be turned on in theRobot Assemblysection. Enter Robot Assembly and head to the back left corner of the room tofind a window with a power switch on the other side.
Use your Signal Redirector to channel power to the door nearby, leading to the Wing Control switch.Activate the Wing Control leverand then exit this room, the same way you entered.
Next, immediately take a right,climb the brown box, and look to your left to find another power switchon the wall. Use your Signal Redirector to redirect the power to the main door.
Turning on Power to the Left Wing
Next, we need to flip the Wing Control lever in the Power Control Beta room. Before we do that, though, we need to gain access.
Head to the Power Control Beta room, and go to the left of the door, where you’ll find apower switch through a window. Use your Signal Redirector to change the power to the entrance of the Power Control Beta room, allowing you to enter.

Once inside the Power Control Beta Room, activate the wing lever in the far right corner of the Power Control Beta Room.
After flipping the lever,electricity will cover the entire ground in front of the door leading to the lower level.
Exit the Power Control Beta room, take a right, and go up the stairsto loop around to avoid the electricity. Here you will find a power switch to use your Signal Redirector on.
Lastly,press the button in front of the Lower Level doorto open it and go through to finally reach the lower level.
Finding Dr. Garrow’s Research Notes
In the lower level of Robotics, you need to grab Dr. Garrow’s Research Notes from the Head Office. Unfortunately, this door is locked, so it’s essential tofind the Head Office Keycardfirst.
If youinvestigate the dead body at the entranceof the lower level of Robotics, you’ll find a note that mentions theHead Office Keycard is in the Weapons Testing section. The note will also mention that Weapon Testings is shut off, and we need to find three terminals to open it up.
Thethree terminals are labeled A, B, and Cand can be found on the west, north, and east sections of the area. Keep in mind that you have to press these buttons quickly for Weapons Testing to open up.
Since it’s essential to press each terminal button quickly, you may want to defeat the robot patrols in the area first, just so they don’t get in the way. I had the best luck killing them with my shotgun and Molotov cocktails.

Once you open up Weapons Testing, you can find theHead Office Keycard on the ground next to the dead body. Grab the keycard and make your way to the Head Office, which can be found up the nearby staircase.
Lastly,grab Dr. Garrow’s notes from her deskto complete this part of the lead. Now, all you have to do is return to Dr. Garrow.
Run the ERA Command at the Dam Data Store
After bringing Dr. Garrow her notes, she will ask you to go to the Dam Data Storeat the Casterfell Damand run a voice command. Luckily, Dr. Garrow marks this location on your map, making it easy to find.
Once you enter the Dam Data Store, you’ll instantly encounter a patrolling robot. Considering this area involves another Signal Redirector puzzle, I recommend defeating the robot so he doesn’t get in the way.

Before we enter the voice command for Dr. Garrow, we need toturn on the power in the Dam Data Store.Follow the steps below in order.

After following these steps, you can now interact with the Data interface Console in the center of the main room.
Before entering the GEN ERA command, feel free to choose the option to access recent data and gather information on various lore within Atomfall such as Oberon, the Interchange, the quarantine, etc.
When you’re ready,enter the GEN ERA Commandto move on to the final objective of Dr. Garrow’s questline.
Extract a Sample of Oberon for Dr. Garrow
After returning to Dr. Garrow, she will ask you to do one more thing for her —extract a sample of Oberon. Unfortunately, this can only be done if you have turned on the power to all Data Stores and powered up the Central Processor.
Either way, once you enter Oberon and make it to ground zero with the purple crystal, you can find the mining infrastructure off to the left.
Interact with this mining infrastructure to grab a sample of Oberon and then return it to Dr. Garrow to complete the quest. Doing this will result ina unique ending to Atomfall.
