Gust and Koei Tecmo recently revealed multiple trailers forAtelier RyzaatTokyo Game Show 2019. That’s not all, a gameplay video with Pro Wrestlers Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima playing the game was published. It might seem like a peculiar thing to do, but their chat throughout is actually pretty interesting. Well, assuming you can understand Japanese. If not, you can still enjoy watching them play the game for a good 15 minutes.Another interesting thing is seeing the game is releasing next week in Japan, Famitsu’s review of it is out. The review most notably says it takes around 40 hours to clearAtelier Ryza’s main story.The game also got a note of 34/40 on Famitsu, something you shouldn’t really pay any mind to: While we do it here on DualShockers, I’ve personally always been against giving notes to games in a review. I’m not very happy with the state of things with Metacritic having huge weight and publishers taking it into account either. But that’s how the system goes, like how the Akaii Meganee inPriParawould say. However, Famitsu’s notation system, in particular, is very misleading and personally speaking I don’t get why people still give Famitsu notes so much importance and share them every week.
An illustrated countdown also started on the Japanese GustAtelier official Twitter. A new party member’s illustration will be tweeted each day.
DMM Games and Koei Tecmo had also hired popular cosplayer Moe Iori as Ryza’s official cosplayer during TGS 2019. Iori’s portrayal of Ryza made a sensation on JP Twitter in August when she first cosplayed her at C96.
