It seems as if we’ll be seeing a special mission unlocked for Ubisoft’sAssassin’s Creed Valhallaproviding you purchase the season pass for the game. This is according to a listing that appeared onUbisoft’s German store.
While it seems to have been removed now, the games overview page detailed the information. Now it simply reads “Experience a gripping story mission. It will be available from publication.” However, GameRant originally reported on this with ascreenshot of the German page, then Twinfinite shared the screenshot of theGoogle Translated page.I’ve nabbed the Google Translated image from Twinfinite, (Thanks!) so you can read it below.

As you’re able to see, the Season Pass area mentions that players will not only unlock new content, explore new countries, and find new gear, but they’ll also get to experience a new mission that seems exclusive to Season Pass holders called “The Legend of Beowulf”.
According to the listing, players will get to discover the cruel truth behind the legend.
Beowulf is an Old English poem that tells the story of Beowulf, who goes off to slay a monster, then later a dragon. The poem itself, according to Wikipedia, says that Beowulf aids the King of Danes, which was basically Denmark. However, after defeating the monster he returns to Geats, which is known now as Sweden. It’ll be interesting to see how we’ll be taking part in the story as players, no doubt traveling to the countries associated with the poem.
The official page forAssassin’s Creed Valhallaat current also says that players who pre-order the game will get an exclusive mission titled “The Way of the Beserker”, this is only for pre-orders though and also not being kept hush-hush, unlike the Beowulf story.
You’ll probably have already seen theofficial cinematic trailer, however, we also got to see a"gameplay" trailerwhich didn’t feature the type of gameplay players expected to see. Either way, anticipations for the game are still high. We already know we canvisit the Four Kingdoms and even Stonehenge, and we can expect tosee a “unique narrative”.
Are you excited about the upcomingAssassin’s Creed Valhalla? It’ll be arriving on PS4 and Xbox One as well as next-generation consoles. You canpre-order the game on Amazonif you like. PC will be exclusive to theEpic Games Store.
