Lots of games feature collectibles that will reward you when you collect enough of them. Sometimes these might give weapons, armor, or special abilities. This acts as a means for the game to reward players for enjoying all the elements it has to offer.
Assassin’s Creed Miragehas many collectibles forBasimto get his hands on such as Lost Books,Dervis’ Artifacts, and Historical Sites. One collection you will need to complete is Mysterious Shards, as these will open 3 of the Chests found in Wilderness.

You will find many Gear Chests scattered all throughout the Wilderness region. These are the 6 chests you will be able to get without needing any Mysterious Shards.

Hidden One Sword
Your first Gear Chest can be found in theAbandoned Carabanserai— which can be found near the end of thewestside of the map. Travel west until you are in the middle of thedried-up fountain. Turn to look to your right and you will see afirepot. Head past this fire pot and to yourleftwill be a structure where you canslide. Slide it in front of the pile of woodenbarrelsand then go back to pick up thisfire pot. Walk up to the top of this structure and thenjump to the ropeto thewestof it. This will lead you to aplatformthat you’re able to use to move through somebroken railings. Opposite these broken railings will be somemore broken railingsyou can use to jump past 2wooden beams. The second wooden beam will have aropeleading to anotherwooden beam. Just past this beam will beanother wooden beamon the same building for you to jump to. From this wooden beam, lookeast. You will see adoorthat has beenblockedup with stones.Throwthe fire pot at this blocked-up door. Inside this room will be the Gear Chest you seek.

On your map you will see theSouthern Camp. From the capital “S” headnorthto find a large building. Look along thenorthwest wallon the outside of this building to find the Gear Chest.

Spymaster’s Campwill be the next destination. It will be north of the first “a.” You will walk along atreethat lets you hop to another tree branch. At the end of the first branch you walk on, use yourEagle Visionto highlight the Gear Chest. Jump to thesecond branchand onto the wooden platform it connects to. Then turnleftto get to the Gear Chest.

Open your map and look toWinter Palace, directlynorthof the dome of this building will be a tower by the water — the next Gear Chest can be found there. From thewestside, you may kick theleverby a wheel to propel yourself up to thetopof the wall. Turnleftand run up to the gate on yourleft. UseEagle Visionand you will see alatchyou can destroy bythrowinga knife. This will cause theheavy loadto fall, followed by a loud crashing sound. Make your wayback downandfollow the wallaway from the wheel you used. You will come to a large woodenstairway. Head up these stairs and keep following the wall until you pass through adoor. Turn to face theleft,and you will see a platform you can climb up. Turnrightand you will see the Gear Chest.

The first upgrade schematic for your dagger can be found atDur-Kurigalzu. Climb to the verytopof the landmass and stand at the end of thebricked path. You will see aholein front of you. Perform aLeap of Faithand you will dive into this hole and land in somewater. Swim to thesouthwest, andyou will be able to climb out of the water. There will be aguardafter you climb out, as well as3 more guardsfurther into the cave. You can take out the guard in thedistanceusingthe right tooljust before passing through the door. Then either use somered powderto theleftof the door to stun the remaining two, or perform achain assassinationon them as you pass through the door. Run to the end of the path and destroy thevaseson theright, followed byslidingthe stone wall to where these vases were. Pick up thefire potin the room behind this wall and follow the wall on the left until you see astoned-updoor you can use thefire potto blow open. Follow the path while watching theleftuntil you see aholein the wall — jump through this hole. Look past the ledge and there will be plenty of guards standing on atreasure pile. You will find the Gear Chest in themiddleof this treasure pile.

Look at your map toWater Mill—northof the “I” you will find a massivewater wheel. While facing this wheel, turn right and go around the corner. Walk until you see somestone stairson yourleftside. Jump over the ledge next to these stairs into the water. This is where you will get thekeyto the water mill. Go up to thestone stairsand then travelnorthwest. You will come to achasmthat you must hopdown. Grab theshelvesin this chasm andpullit toward you. In the room behind it, you will find the Gear Chest.

In order to get your hands on thefinal 3 chests in this region, you will need to havecollected all thegame’s Mysterious Shardsfor the mission known asThe Calling. Once you have all of these shards, you’re able to head to theNorthern Oasisand swim through thetunnelfound at thebottomof thelaketo an underground chamber with3 Gear Chests.
