The introduction of Loki inOne Piecehas opened a whole new can of worms that has made the narrative even more confusing. Fans have been wondering about almost every aspect of his character that has been kept a mystery by Eiichiro Oda. From his Devil Fruit to his role as the antagonist of Elbaph there are a lot of things that the mangaka needs to clear about him.

While fans wait for Loki’s character arc to progress inOne Piece, they have anticipated some clues of their own regarding his significance in the story. Although these clues might just be speculations, they give a decent insight into how Loki would affect the Elbaph storyline and theOne Piececentral narrative as a whole.

Among these clues, the most scary one is that while Loki might have been a pirate, he might not have been the captain of his ship. There are speculations that either Loki was a member of one of the most dangerousOne Piecepirate crews, or he was the second in command of an even more scary pirate captain, who might prove to be a big problem for Luffy.

The Potential Dangers of Loki’s Character inOne Piece

The Elbaph arc holds a lot of significance in theOne Piecenarrative considering it was hinted at the beginning of the series. The arc has been associated with Loki since The Whole Cake Island, and fans were too excited to find out what kind of role Loki will play in the final phase of the Straw Hat Pirates’ adventures inOne Piece.

When he was finally introduced, he exceeded all expectations, as he looked nothing like the silhouette that was foreshadowed byEiichiro Oda. In fact, his dangerous aura was represented by the fact that his physical appearance led fans to believe that he was a combination of Kaido and Doflamingo, two of the most notoriousOne Piecevillains.

Later on, when the manga revealed more facts about him, like how he killedhis father for a Devil Fruitand his special bounty by the World Government, his character became more dangerous. As of now, fans are quite certain that Loki might be the main antagonist of the Elbaph arc and would bring a big change to Luffy’s journey as Pirate King.

Loki Might Have An Even Scarier Captain

While Loki looks like he is all kinds of danger to the Straw Hat Pirates, new speculations hint that there might be someone who could be even more powerful and dangerous than him. These speculations come from the skull emblem that is inscribed on his belt. This emblem is similar to a few otherOne Piececharacters and forms an uncanny link between them.

The other characters are Charlotte Katakuri, the second strongest character of Big Mom Pirates; King, the second strongest character of the Beast Pirates; and Shiryu, the second strongest character of Blackbeard Pirates. All three of them possess these skull emblems on their attire, which might be a hint by theOne Piecemanga creator.

Either they might be a part of a secret group that would make a big revelation in the later part ofOne Piece, or it’s Oda’s way of hinting that all the second-strongest characters have these skulls.

They are all 1st commanders? So Loki has a captain?

Therefore, there is a big possibility that, just like the others, Loki might have a captain who might be even more dangerous than he is and would pose an even bigger threat to Luffy and his crew.
